I've been waiting five years for you to write more stories in the Atlantis Shift universe. The wait was well worth it. Your development as a writer from when you wrote the first two stories is impressive. The style of writing needed for this broad-brush telling of a myth is very different from the detail-focused style, with fully-developed characters, that you perfected for the CJ universe. Bravo! I look forward for the final two installments of Leaving Atlantis.

Ever since reading "Hail to the Chief," I've wondered how each member of the Squad became who you said they'd become in 2041. So thanks for the little bits of info you include in each story. For example, Chipper's touring with Maroon 5 in this story.

Free will is a phallacy. You might enjoy the website Verbotomy.com It's good for lots of laughs, including: Phallacy Etymology: Phallic + Fallacy. Definition: v. To compensate for lack of love, attention and/or sexual favors by buying things, lots of things. n. An object purchased to compensate for sexual dawdling. Sentence: His purchasing tools was just a phallacy, since he already had the only tool he needed for the job, but lacked the experience in using it.

That was a fun, sweet way to end this story. The cameo from the Edwards was a pleasant surprise. In "Hail to the Chief" you provided a peek at the Squad members (and their families) 20 years from now. That story left us wondering how each of the guys got from today to that point in their lives. In "Singer" and "Ranger" you've brilliantly and lovingly told how Chipper and Brad launched their adult lives. You mentioned that Ritch's story comes next. Yay! He's one of my (many) favorite people. Please, please, give us the tale of Saint Harley next!! I was going to say "fairy" tale, but that wouldn't apply to Harley.

There was so much sweetness and love and human connection in the chapter, I hoped this was the final chapter of this book in the Camp Refuge saga.

Thanks for another great chapter, Carlos. I'd like to see more of Riley and Phil and get to know them better. It's really nice to have another committed gay couple in the CJverse. I'm a little concerned about Brad living alone in Everhope. Brad probably still has some demons to deal with, along with the stresses of being a student again. I hope he doesn't isolate in that huge house.

When I read the chapter, I thought you were talking about the gay college football players CJ & Owen met at Virginia Tech. After re-reading New Year's Day (a great little story!), I realized I'd confused Riley & Phil (sweet love) with Cory & Efrain (hot love).

An interesting chapter, trying to follow the Land Rover's route on Google Maps. Note: Google Maps shows Tipperary Station as being Southeast of Dundee rather than Northwest. Are there more than one place with that name?

Thank you, Carlos. Another one of your over-the-fence home run stories. Tears and laughter and no sugar coating of the truth that needs to be told again and again with all our passion. Your timing for dropping the story was perfect for those of us in California -- just before the super Tuesday primary when millions of citizens came out to polls to do their civic duty, the way we veterans did wherever we were stationed in the world.

Another great chapter. I don't enjoy teenage emotional flip flops like I used to, so I'm glad Chris spent the weekend in the mature-orater room. I suspect the enemy is not Gustav but something much bigger and more powerful. Chris will need to control and harness all his mental & emotional as well as magic powers... so I'm glad he's getting stronger in all three. The only drawback is all the typos.

Another great chapter in a great story???? I love it. Although there were a lot of of typos and grammar glitches. Chris may be a prince and very powerful in elf magic, but he must have been skipping his English classes in school.🤭😁
