I'm a member of this board and my vote counts just like everyone else's. Neener neener neener. Now you can go round up a hundred other members by yourself if you want this to happen. If you need to, there's a member list and you can send all 584 of them a PM. BTW, if you do that, I HIGHLY recommend typing a generic message and cut and pasting that message into each PM. THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF MASS P.M. ing OF MEMBERS. Just a suggestion.

Okay, I've been getting a few e-mails and PM's, and comments from people that want a forum to discuss my writings. I'm hesitant to have Myr create one for several reasons. First, I don't know if there's enough interest in such a thing to make the effort of creating and running one worth it all. I could be wrong about this, I don't know. Second, a forum wouldn't be for me. I'm active in several forums, including Dom Luka's because they aren't MINE, and they don't pertain to my works. I like to use my blog to really communicate things on my works. If a forum were created, you'd see me about as much as you see Dom in his forums. Remember, in THEIR forums, I'm a fan just like everyone else. In my own forums...well those are for you, the readers and fans to enjoy. So, here's the deal folks. If you want a DK forums...you can have one. Get 100 people more people to vote Yes than vote No on this poll and I'll tell Myr to start one up (and then pick a victim to make Moderator as well as me.) If 1 person votes no, you need 101 people for this to happen. If no one votes no, only 100 are needed. Twenty vote no, 120 are needed and so on and so forth. I'm not going to drum up any support for this, it has to come from the readers and fans. If it happens, I'll come up with goodies and fun things along the way to help it or going, but you guys and gals have to want it... Oh, and votes are anonymous so anyone voting no may do so without fear of retaliation from any other person (don't even suggest it, guys, I won't stand for someone's voice being stifled that way). Deal? Edit here: I chose 100 because we, at the time of this post, have 584 members. 100 is slightly less than 20% of the registered members of this forum.

Had weird dreams about walking into a card store and there's a card, can't remember the words now, but someone had made a card that referenced all my stories and was kind of cute and when you opened it said something about the real surprise being when they sick the vampires on you... Okay, yeah, I'm weird.

Okay, I wrote about this man in Phone Call briefly, and boy did people hate him after that... BUT, have you seen his new video? He did the taping of this week's VH1 Top Twenty Countdown and he's like feeding Sushi to the VH1 veejay! Yegods he is one hot man. I want, I want, I want....okay I know what I'm doing my next fan fic on...

*sigh* They're always taken. Last time I was in London, on my last day there I met this really handsome guy (a redhead even!) in a certain club near Victoria station. He came back with me to my hotel room that night and we had a great time. When it was time to leave the next morning, I almost decided to stay with him. Alas, I went on that trip with my boss, who was there and firmly pushed me onto the tube car going to paddington station instead of the other one going with Richard to South London. If he hadn't been there, I'd have stayed in London and found someway to live there with the red-headed Richard. Later, after the plane had taken off towards the States, my Boss Chuck let out a sigh of relief and looked over at me. "That," he said, "was the real reason I came with you on this trip. We need you back at work." Of course I later found out that Richard wasn't quite the person I thought he was. The wife and two kids living in Manchester while he worked in London would have been a problem for me. Not the kids part, just the still-married and no intention of leaving them but wouldn't mind a guy in the London apartment during the week part. I'll have to put my dreams of a proper british husband on hold for a while, I guess.

Bah I had written a big old long response and the board had a hiccup, so I'll just boil it down here... Myr's invested a lot of time and money into making this board a place where people will go not just to read but to communicate as well. 10,000 posts is a sign that communication continues to grow. Reaching 20,000 in half the time as 10k would be an even better sign. People don't have to post in order for GA to continue, but it certainly helps. The goal isn't to force people into posting though, but rather to provide a place where they feel comfortable posting, or even REALLY want to post!

I KNEW there was a reason why I put them there! Oh, and Novelty, check both the most recent reply in my blog comments and the one where you asked what countries I'd been to...wait, I think I'll just put them in the blog itself as an edit.

Myr's always giving me a bad time for looking up my site's ranking compared to the other authors (I'm going to catch you DOM!), but then he does the same thing comparing Gay Authors to other sites... *sigh*

Only if you don't want to see any story I'm working on right now continued. I'd do an alternate reality story where Daniel is bi-sexual and discovers his new C.O. played by Ben Browder is also bi...and they fiind true love at last...*sigh*

Myr recently did some changes to a few of the pages and now one or two chapters of different stories appear to have some link problems. I've emailed him the ones I've been notified of, and one I found by checking on my own. They should be back up and operational sometime tomorrow. Aleric...check your PM folder.
