I think the idea of temporarily merging the packs is probably the best solution for the long term viability of both packs. Who knows, maybe they will decide to ultimately permanently merge the packs, living in both areas interchangeably. I have to say I really like Clarence. He's an amazingly farsighted alpha, who knows things have to change, even if that means he might lose his alpha status. Although I know some of the couples have talked (specifically Joanne and her husband) this is going to be tough, unless they really don't love each other. Having the hypothetical idea of leaving your spouse for an earth mate is one thing, but reality could be messy. Hopefully Joanne's husband also has someone out there... The painting intrigued me and I have so many ideas floating around in my head about what the meaning could possible be, and how it could potentially impact Kellar and Tobyn's mission. The issue with the financing was discussed a bit in Unforgivable, but the major problem was he didn't have sufficient credit for the size of loan he needed for the business start-up. If he does have the ability to secure his own loan now, the idea of losing your family's support might be daunting, even if he isn't dependent on their money any more. Yes, it was an older model car with no airbags. Liam was very lucky he wasn't more badly hurt, and that he didn't hurt his neck. Alek does love Liam, but he hasn't put him high on his priority list. Honestly, once Alek saw Liam in the accident I think he had to make sure Liam was going to be okay.
