It is tough, but I think Liam needed to do this, for himself. The next chapter will be posted tomorrow morning. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

Prologue Liam stretched tired arms over his head, feeling the delicious muscle aches that came after of vigorous sex. His hand came into contact with warm flesh… Alek. Rolling over, he leaned up onto his elbow, taking in the sight of his still sleeping boyfriend. Today had been wonderful. His big Russian had taken the day off and driven them out of town to a secluded pond. It was a beautiful, private location Liam hoped they could visit again soon. <><><> “Oh my Go

Liam is tired of feeling like he's a second choice, but walking away is never easy. ** NOTE: This is the story of Liam MacPherson, who was introduced in Unforgivable. Although it would be helpful to read Unforgivable first, Choices can be read as a stand alone story.**

Story Review Featured Story: Best Circle Of Hell Series
LitLover commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I agree with pretty much everything Puppi has said in her review. The Circle of Hell series isn't for everyone. There is gore, pain and unconventional displays of love and affection that might be disturbing (or at least not as enjoyable) for some, but each story is a fascinating read. I enjoyed the fact that nothing was sugar coated and the demons acted.. well, like demons. -
Chapter 39 Healer Interrupted
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 39 Healer Interrupted
I found it very interesting (interesting but not entirely surprising) that Kellar's protective instincts in regard to his mate almost suppress his healer side. Logan is extremely lucky that Kellar was able to get past his anger at the near attack in order to try to save the guy. I have to say I am relieved that the healing seems to be working, even if we don't know how Logan's personality will change when he wakes. I hope for Tilly's sake that he becomes the man his pack seems to remember him to be. I am really looking forward to Logan waking up to see how much the healing helped him. Again it seems that Kellar's abilities as well as the bond between Kellar and Tobyn are increasing and transforming. I wonder how far these changes will extend? Its been an fascinating journey watching Kellar grow and change, as a man, a healer and a mate. Eagerly awaiting next week! -
CSR Book Club January C S R Feature: The Pledge By Mikiesboy

Belated congratulations on the feature, tim! It looks like I missed this and the second part of the story. I'll be sure to track that down and read and review later today. -
Chapter 40 Happy New Year
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 40 Happy New Year
I completely agree. I hate New Years resolutions. They are generally unrealistic, drunken promises that set you up for failure. Why do we do that to ourselves? I gave up on resolutions a long time ago. if it means that much to me, than its not something I have to wait until January 1st to change. As always, you know how to strike a chord. -
Damn... poor Tilly. I really hope Kellar can help Logan because otherwise, Tilly could lose her earth mate before she ever gets a chance to know him. One big complication I see is that Logan is paranoid and won't trust that Kellar is trying to help him. The actual procedure could be incredibly difficult and they may have to do it without Logan's consent. I think I like CG's idea of having the two packs merge. I know it'll be tough for any pack to leave their traditional lands, but there may be no choice if they want to survive and thrive. I'm eagerly anticipating next Monday, Gary!

This was a great take on a supernatural theme. I like the premise of the self-help group to help these faeries learn to cope with their newfound abilities. I wonder if Alvin looks like an elf to others, but he hasn't noticed it in himself? The group seemed to recognize it right away. I would like to read more about these characters, especially the developing romance with Garin. Great job!

Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
LitLover commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
Good for Rob to bury the hatchet. Sometimes people have reasons for their behavior, if you're able to step back from the emotion and willing to find out what that reason might be. Granted, that reason might be because the person is just a jerk, but sometimes, as is the case here, there are painful memories spurring the reaction. Now that it is out in the open at least the boys can help him get past it. Oh and great use of private rehearsal time I knew Eric's enthusiasm would wear down Nelson's resolve. There is only so much of a hot, willing partner a guy can take. The fact that they care so much about each other only makes using restraint that much harder. -
Well now we know where the sheep research was used. I agree with Gary, pacing for short stories can be tricky. You have to add enough detail to draw the reader in, but not so much that your limited word count is bogged down. I think you did well with this. I too would have loved more details on the development of the relationship between Tristan and William, but to be fair, I would have likely felt that way even in a longer story. I am generally greedy when it comes to details about the development of relationships I'm looking forward to Part Two!.

Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
I think my favorite part of this chapter was the discussions between Tobyn and Kellar, both when they're discussing the importance of the cabin to both of them and the post-coital talk they had. The sex was hot, but these two connect on a deep level and now they seem to have the telepathic communications skills to go along with that connection. I agree that they are fated for something much bigger than just simply being mates (although they are great mates together ) Oh and I think if this cool stuff happens for them every time they have sex then this is the excuse they need to spend as much time naked together as they can. -
From David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, George Michael, Alan Thicke and now Carrie Fisher, 2016 has been tough on the entertainment industry.

I'm really happy Carl and Mack ended up so happy together, and that Simon Matured and found someone he wanted to settle down with. Like the others I was surprised and sad about Lee and Martin, but if Martin was the spendthrift it sounds like he was (on Lees credit) they were likely doomed to fail at some point.

I'm really enjoying the glimpses you're giving us into this world. Ancient Egypt and gods have always fascinated me. I really hope Anu and Tut are able to enjoy some alone time together. They seem to fit with each and could make a great couple, although I think Horus is going to have some questions if his friend stays holed up with his new lover for too long.

Sadly, I kind of relate to having to deal with someone like Jamie's mom (in my case it's my MIL). She's not a bad person, but between her lack of filter and tact she says things that make you cringe. Fortunately, Jamie seems to have developed a thicker skin with her. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the development of Jamie and Blaine's relationship, as well as Jamie's first relationship. Sadly, the Ste's reaction is not unusual. The boy is probably just beginning to accept his feelings, and having to deal with an abusive parent would make him defensive and fearful for his safety. Thank you for this story, Sasha. It was a wonderful read.

Blake's story is sadly not uncommon for siblings of high achieving (or even sick) siblings. All of the parents' attentions can easily be taken without the parents even realizing how lopsided things have become. Good for Blake for finally taking a stand and carving out a life away from the shadow of his famous siblings. I completely understand Blake's initial reaction to Ryan's attention. He's had years of being trained to be suspicious of people's motives, which isn't going to change overnight. Fortunately, Ryan is tenacious and fought through the suspicion so they have a chance of happiness with each other.

I'm not generally a fan of stories set in the old west, but this one I did enjoy immensely. I suspect it had a lot to do with how you developed both Wiley and Cooper, and their budding attraction to one another. Your approach to a traditional cowboy story was interesting and engaging, drawing me in from the first line. I would love to read more about these two and the life I hope they are able to building together.

Sometimes the object of someone's affection can be placed on a bit of a pedestal. I think that might be the case here, although Anubis seems to realize that he would have little in common, besides lust, with Nerfertum. I suspect Anubis will eventually get what he wants (he seems pretty persistent), but he and Horus do seem far more suited for one another.

I know I always enjoy your work, but some characters really seem to affect me more than others. In this it was Clint. I wondered about his attitude with Rory, especially given his care when his moving partner was in the slightest danger. He never struck me as a bad person. I was pleased to find that my initial feelings about Clint were accurate. Although I felt for him, thinking the object of his affections hated him, I was happy when he finally plucked up the courage to say something. Sure it took being stranded in a storm, but some people need that extra kick in the pants, right? I hope you follow up with these two at some point, even if its just a prompt chapters. It would be nice to see how they are doing next Christmas

Chapter 38 Merry Christmas, My Love
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 38 Merry Christmas, My Love
This made me both happy and sad. I kind of walked away wanting to give someone a hug. I was happy there was an answer on the other end of the line. I can't imagine the pain there will be when there is no longer an answer. -
I'm with Lux... I like the fact that their telepathy isn't perfect and has to be practiced. You tend to appreciate something more when you have to put some effort into having it. I like that Kellar wants to make sure Warren has his moment in the sun. If anyone needs the esteem boost it's Warren. Between Adelin and the boys I think the man is well on his way to truly putting his past behind him. Although I am happy about Warren, I completely get Elinor's worry. Kellar and Tobyn were in danger and things could've easily gone south for them. Thinking that if Warren hadn't intervened her boys would have died had to be terrifying. They were right to fill her in about the entire story. Giving warren his due is one thing, but there is no need to unnecessarily worry her. Looking forward to the road trip!

I agree with you that presents aren't the be all and end all of the season, no matter what the commercials tell you. One of the best forms of Christmas spirit I've seen is giving something of yourself in some way. I heard of a Boston Pizza in southern Ontario who are putting on a free Christmas meal for people without family, or who wouldnt get a hot meal otherwise. It probably won't affect their bottom line very much, but it could mean so much for their guests. Thank you for this tim

Well wasn't this a wonderful surprise! It was to catch up with the boys again. I love how protective, yet supportive Rob is. He'd kill Nelson if he hurt Eric, but at the same time pleads his brother's case with the parents. I can see how Eric can be equally exasperated and grateful lol. I also like how Rob is aware enough to realize that he doesn't want to string someone along, and potentially hurt them. He's a good man.

Chapter 37 Yoga For The Mind
LitLover commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 37 Yoga For The Mind
Hahaha such an accurate analogy as we twist words like pretzels and stretch phrases to fit where we need them. You have a wonderful way with words, and did I mention you look great in yoga clothes
