    Chapter 29

that's it exactly... if you can't trust your partner, who can you trust? Corey needed to determine on his own if he could trust Jason, and his own judgement. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 29

Being flawed humans, I'm sure they will have more bumps in the road, but at least we know they have the capacity to get over the big ones Thank you for your review and your support, Reader.

    Chapter 29

I think it was important in this chapter for Corey to come to his own conclusions where Jason was concerned. Before he talked to Pierre, and that's great, but he needed to find it in himself to trust what they had together. Thank you for your review and all of your support, Gary

    Chapter 29

Thank you, Parker Corey did have a knee jerk reaction, but was able to calm down and look at things calmly. Believe me, I know how hard of a task that can be when emotions are running high. Thank you for your support and your review

    Chapter 29

Yes, I think Corey does have a few more things to add into the therapy bucket. He is better with his trust issues, but this proved that there is still more he needs to think about. Of course, no one's perfect. Thank you for your review and your support, Lux

    Chapter 29

Chapter 29 Corey was running away. He knew he was being a coward, but couldn’t seem to stop. The streets were a blur of buildings and pedestrians as he raced over the pavement. Curious gazes from passersby barely registered as tears blurred his vision. How could Jason do this to him? To them? Was that why he didn’t answer his phone? Who was the man he was kissing? Questions swirled through his mind as his body’s flight response took over, attempting to protect him. The pai

    Chapter 5

I was kind of disappointed in Dave in this chapter. I get that he's kind of a pacifist, and I respect that, but he knew how hard of a life Jae had before they met... hell the guy was a slave for three men. Sometimes choices and morality aren't black and white in those instances. I'm going to chalk his reaction up to stress, especially knowing how badly he felt before that "biting my nails" cliff hanger at the end I don't doubt Dave will be okay (the story would be over pretty quick if he wasn't, after all) but I worry about the in between until he and Jae actually get a chance to lay eyes on each other again. It makes me sad thinking that Jae believes the man he loves is disappointed in him.

    Chapter 4

I'm sorry, I completely missed reviewing this chapter! First of all... Barry and Cathy? It's sweet to see Barry so smitten. I was also surprised to see women and children in the group, but it does make me feel better knowing the group has something to fight for and protect.
  12. It was great to see the interaction between Warren and Kellar. I totally understand K's caution. It's hard to trust an addict. It seems like Warren is sincere, and I really doubt Warren will deliberately hurt Adelin... but drug addiction can have its claws in pretty deep. To be honest, my concern is actually that Warren will think he's not good enough for that sweet girl, and push her away "for her own good". It was so sweet to see the instant attraction between Adelin and Warren. They were immediately drawn to each other. I have a feeling Tobyn and Kellar felt that same attraction, but in their case, they didn't know about Earth Mates and tried to find other explanations or excuses for their attraction. I have to wonder if things would have moved along at a quicker pace if Tobyn believed in mates from the beginning? Jealous Tobyn is pretty cute Its nice to see him feeling a little possessive of his man

    Chapter 28

It would be hard to walk in on that and not immediately think the worst, even if it's only for a moment. As for how this will play out? Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

That would have been great if he'd yanked Luc away from his boyfriend. Corey does need to gain some confidence in his relationship. Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh

    Chapter 28

I'm sorry the chapter disappointed you. When I started writing this story I had a very clear path in mind. I had tried to change the bar scene, but this was how it played out in my head. There are times, even in real life, where we see the outcome of things before they happen, and yet they happen regardless. To me, this chapter was more about the changes in Jason's life than the ill-timed kiss. Jason's life changed so much and he wanted to see the good in Luc. Was it naive? Yes, but he did love the man once and hoped Luc was capable of change. It was a chance he won't ever give again. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts

    Chapter 28

You're right, the writing was probably on the wall when Corey decided to go to Toronto, but couldn't reach Jason. that said, I hope the story-line itself hasn't become cliche Thank you for your review and your support, Lux
