    Chapter 28

Thanks, Def. Jorrah was a troubled man. He went after Jenson because he thought J ruined his powerful future in the Terezin ruling family. He wanted Audra punished because she questioned his right to hate Jenson and not taking care of his son. I think it's good for him that he's dying. thank you for your review and your support, Def.

    Epilogue

The first year Jenson stayed close to home, but yes, the second year they did spend a lot of time apart. I suspect that was one of Audra's motivations for hiring M. She was probably tired of hearing her brother talk about him I'm pleased that you like how this ended. I do want to start a sequel at some point, but even if I don't I wanted everyone to know they were both in a good place. Thank you for your review and all of your support, Drew.

    Chapter 1

lol thank you for this review, Drew. It really made my morning. I loved Merrick as a little boy. He was a sweet kid who was able to draw Jenson out when no one else really could. Thank you again for your review and all of your support, Drew.

Thank you, Dugh. That's exactly what I was hoping for... an ending where you don't NEED a sequel, but I can do one down the road if I want, or if there is demand for one. thank you for your review and your support.

    Epilogue

Epilogue Merrick looked around the room at the faces of his new team. “That’s everything for now. Dismissed!” As one, the group rose and left the room, the buzz of conversation following them. Merrick smiled and grabbed his comm pad. “That went well,” an amused voice said from the door. Jenson was leaning against the wall, smiling at him. “It did.” Merrick grinned at his lover. “Hollis prepared them well, so the transition should go smoothly.” “I think the only issue you’re goi

Thank you It's been great working on this story with you too. The time you spent editing and beta reading and all of your great suggestions have helped me to make this a story I'm very proud of.

    Chapter 28

I hope the epilogue gives everyone the answers they want. Thank you for reading and for all of your wonderful reviews. I love reading them. The fact that you find the characters and story interesting are great compliments. Although they are fictional characters I wanted to create men that people would want to know more about. I appreciate your support and your review, Dr.P.

    Chapter 28

I think Jorrah is a troubled man who saw his future as part of a powerful family, through his son, destroyed and blamed Jenson. Of course the office was christened. Merrick realized that Jenson needed to take his mind off of things, and neither one of them would be patient enough to get to a bed. I love that you can see the connection between them. It's more than just lust and sex... they're also each others' closest friend. Thank you for the great review, Drew. I hope you like the epilogue just as much

  20. This makes me want to lie out on the grass or the dock at the cottage and feel the sun warm me to my bones. It may not cure, but it does soothe. It was a beautiful ode to a god that brings light into our lives.

    Chapter 28

Chapter 28 Jenson stepped off of the ship, happy to be back on familiar soil. So much had happened in the last weeks. They’d lost so much on this mission… he looked towards the rover where Merrick was speaking to Sergeant Varallo and Connor Weir… but he’d also gained more than he’d thought possible. “Are you going straight to the compound?” his father asked, stopping beside him. “The Starjumper hasn’t arrived yet, but they’re in the sector.” The vampire turned to the senior Shey, whose

    Chapter 27

Thanks, Def This is a little bittersweet for me too. I'm going to miss these guys, but I have a feeling they're not going to go away forever. Merrick and Jenson are together, finally. It has been a long time in coming, hasn't it? Thank you for the review and your support, Def.
  23. I think their lives are coming together nicely. I love how Craig referred to the house as his home several times in this chapter. It wasn't just lip service (since he wasn't actually talking to anyone else) but his honest feeling about the place. Craig's design sense is amazing. I could imagine the renovations he was describing. I can see someday soon him joining Jared full time in his business... especially when word gets around how good they are as a team. Even Carly was behaving and acting like a human being. She has a lot to make up for, but she's taking some good baby steps in the right direction. I hope she keeps on that path This was a wonderful feel good chapter and put a smile on my face. Thank you.
  24. Their home and family is really starting to come together. And they actually got an intimate moment in there Im with Patrick... I thought it was kind of romantic for Peter to be so protective of Patrick's health, but at the same time not wanting him to wait for too long. Peter really is a sweetheart. I'm glad Patrick was honest with Peter about the money and why he wants to spend it on their home and Michael. I know Peter will likiely still have issues if Patrick tries to spend 'too much' on him, but I doubt Patrick will go overboard anyways. He just doesn't seem like the type.
  25. Haha as I get older I agree more and more with this poem. Aging isn't necessarily painful, but it is achey. I think, though, that you could go up against a lot of much younger men and come out ahead
