    Prologue

Everything Jason did was pretty bad. I agree... he was at school living the life of a party boy, enjoying his freedom. Perri did believe they were in a serious, committed relationship, so this would be a pretty big blow for him. As I said to Tim, I can't say whether or not Jason would have broken up with Perri when they went back to school. After all, he didn't let having a boyfriend stop him from sleeping around up to this point. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

What a wonderful compliment, thank you. The drama was major, but Pierre has his friends with him and they can, hopefully help get him to a place where he can start to heal. Thank you for your review and your support, Rex.

All of these young men are very young, and yes, this is the age that a lot of young people test boundaries and make their mistakes. The question is: who learns from those mistakes? Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi.

It's true, both men and women do cheat. Some choose to continue, some never do it again. I hope you like where I take the story. It's a premise that came to me thinking about an experience a good friend of mine had. Thank you for your review and your support, tim.

I'm really pleased you enjoyed the prologue. It was a painful start to the story, but necessary. I'm pretty sure there must have been more redheaded vikings around See my response to Tim about Andrew and his duffle bag. haha Thank you for your review and your support, droughtquake

lol gotta love Google Translate. haha This was a crappy way to start their holiday, but at least Pierre has them. As for whether or not Jason would have broken up with Pierre when he left for school? Who knows. It's not like he let being in a relationship stop him from sleeping around while he was still in town. You know, I'm not sure if Andrew remembered his bag or not. haha. Even if he forgot it again, he's not shy, so there might have been some skinny dipping in his future. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.

Perri is a sweetheart. He received quite a blow, but he has two really good friends in his corner. Friends can do a lot to help someone get over a broken heart. Thank you for your review and your support, Drew.

Don't forget that Pierre is also only 18. Sometimes at that age, you see forever in every relationship. It can make people easy to seduce with that charm. Thank you for your review and your support (and your excellent editing of course )

Well maybe he didn't get a kick in the , but he did get a punch in the face Thank you for your review and your support, Caz.
  10. I love the gift that Nate bought for Bodie. It's perfect for a guy... a locket that's actually masculine... who knew! Their declarations of love were sweet and touching. I know they're young but they've both been through so much in their short lives that I'm pretty sure they can recognize the feelings for what they are. Whether or not this love translates into a lifetime as a couple, who knows. Even if they some day decide to end their romantic relationship I feel like their friendship will be there forever. M and K having a snowball fight was hilarious. I could picture the indignation on Kendall's face when Michael nailed him with that snowball Their time with the puppies made me all warm and fuzzy inside. I can't wait until they get the girls home and have the baby too. Everything is really coming together for two of my favourite men.

Unforgivable Prologue August 23, 2008… “Are we there yet?” Pierre called from the backseat, in his best whiny five year old voice, making Corey smile. Pierre had been one of his best friends since the first day the redhead moved to town, in grade 9. Over those four years Pierre had mastered the art of irritating Andrew, the other member of their close-knit group. “I told you, Perri,” Andrew answered as he pulled into his driveway. “I was busy earlier, and forgot my bag.” When the blond

If there’s one thing Corey learned from his father, it’s that cheaters never change… ever. Forgetting that will only get you hurt, right?
  13. This was beautiful. I loved how this could be sung to the person you love. You want your love and strength to support and soothe them. There is a feeling of comfort and commitment with every verse. Congratulations on your first posting, with hopefully many, many more to come!
  14. Peter is a bad boy... turning on his boyfriend at the kitchen table? tsk tsk Really though, it's wonderful to see how his love and attention have loosened Patrick up. As Patrick said, the love he's received from Peter and Michael has made him more open to friendship from others. I know it's going to be tough for Patrick to do, but I think it will be good for them to finally have a room to themselves and Michael have his own space as well. I know he enjoys the attention from his far and papa, but he will need his own space and privacy too (not to mention the privacy the couple will need )

Thank you, Matt! I'm very happy you enjoyed the story. I wasn't sure how people would react to the story going to direction it did, but I think it worked. I appreciate the review

    Dirty Dancing

lol the pole dancing was a great touch I agree with Gary.. I love Jacob even more now.... sigh. I keep trying to picture Tor. I think Kristen is going to be in for quite a surprise The dancing sounded like fun. I think that Russ still has a long way to go before he doesn't always feel like a second rate copy of his twin, but he's getting there. I hope Jacob's undeniable excitement at the mere thought of Russel dancing will help with his confidence.
  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DREW!!!
  18. Self pity can be like quicksand. It catches you and doesn't want to let you go. I think people are entitled to a little self pity now and then, as long as we don't let ourselves wallow. I think this was a good verbal slap to being the author back to reality. Great job, Gary

    Epilogue

Thank you for the wonderful vote of confidence I'm very happy you enjoyed the story. As you can probably guess, I love vampires and a touch of sci-fi too. I like the idea of being able to create worlds that starts in my imagination. There is so much you can do with that genre. I tried (and I hope I succeeded) to make sure that, even if this was a world from my imagination, that the scenarios and solutions stayed plausible. Thank you for this review, LadyDe. You made my day.

    Epilogue

lol. that's all right. I was happy to have Jenson and Merrick explore the stars together too. It felt right to have them wait to turn Merrick. It hasn't been that long since Kel died and Merrick knows that Jenson needs time... it's time he's happy to give him. About Landin... I have been thinking of doing some prompts about him, so maybe something will be coming in the future when I see the right words or 'first line'. Thank you again, Tim, for all of your reviews and for joining me on this journey. I appreciate it.

    Chapter 28

I think, after everything, Jenson isn't willing to let Jorrah's words stop him from living and enjoying his time with Merrick. That's not to say that he won't be vigilant. I'd imagine Audra tore a strip off of Jorrah when she spoke to him. Kel was someone her brother loved and she loved him too, so she would be pretty protective. I can guarantee you, though, that Jenson won't tell her what was said. Like you, he'd know how much guilt she would feel if she thought she was partially responsible for anyone's death. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.
  22. I think my favourite thing about Craig and Jared is, as a couple, they talk... and I mean really talk. If they have a problem, they're committed to talking about it, get it out in the open and deal with it. That's going to be what makes these two work in the long run. As always, I love Craig as 'nesting Martha'. He's making their house their home and has move on from Harlan's death enough that he can actually incorporate things from his home with Harlan into his new life with Jared. That ability to do that tells me how far Craig has come... even from the beginning of this story. Jared... oh how I love him. I knew he would want to help Ronnie, if he could. He loves Bailey so much that he wanted to make sure her biological father is ok. It may not be possible to help him at all, but Jared's heart is in the right place, and I know if Ronnie does make it through rehab, he will find a way to help the man get on his feet again. I agree though, that he shouldn't use Bailey as a tool to motivate him into quitting. It's not fair to Bailey, who could be hurt because of Ronnie's family or disappointment if Ronnie fails again. You also can't make someone want to fight an addition for other people. They have to want to do it for themselves if it's going to stick, long term. I know you only intended this to be a short story for the Anthology, but it morphed into a wonderful tale of re-discovering love, and allowing yourself to live again. I hope we do get to visit Craig and Jared again and see where they are in a few months... maybe attend a wedding in the future?
  23. These were all great, but my favourite was the Lune. So much feeling was conveyed in only a few lines... a few words. You could feel the desire for the strength in the arms that hold tight and keep you safe.
  24. I think Mr. Archibald is a sweet, if lonely, older man, who will benefit from a friendship with Grethe. It would also put him at ease knowing who will be living in his own and taking care of his roses. I loved that Grethe is going to help Patrick get Peter to accept that he is buying the house. She's a great ally for him to have. I think Peter will realize quickly he's outnumbered. It will be good for them to have the house next door though. It gives family a place to stay without intruding on the privacy of the new couple. And Michael, the precocious little scamp, is going to have Patrick wrapped completely around his little finger before long.. although Patrick has also become very important to that little boy in such a short period of time.
