    Chapter 24

I think they will deserve a much needed break on an deserted island somewhere lol. No, I don't think J is going to take this well. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 24

Chapter 24 Merrick leaned against the wall, trying to find some way to pull himself up from the floor, but unlike the rough stone of the main hallways, the smooth metallic walls of the room he was in wouldn’t allow him any purchase. Sweat and slick blood on his hands didn’t make things any easier for him. He looked to his left. Lifeless eyes stared back at him before he turned his head away. Fuck, his chest hurt. He reached up with his left hand and ignored the searing pain. He needed
  3. There was so much sadness and a feeling of isolation in this poem. Secret tears and hidden pain are the curse of those who are expected to be strong. I hope that whatever brought on this mood passes quickly.

    Charlatan

I think anyone who writes feels like this at some point. Personally I think it's to keep writers from taking their muse for granted lol.

    Chapter 7

Well I think Toby had a LOT of fun with that. haha I don't think is the last time a Dom is going to try to put Toby in his place thinking he's a sub who's forgetting his role.

    Chapter 6

It's funny. For some reason I saw Oliver and Daniel together. Maybe because he rescued him? Either way, it'll be amusing having triplets running around.
  7. Sometimes, no matter how much you want it to be, some people just don't work together. It can be a hard realization to accept. I think Sam is ready to make that break and move on. it's incredibly sad but just like there are times 'when it's right', there are also times when nothing can fix what's broken. You did a great job in showing that in only a short chapter. Great job

    Chapter 23

I'm not sure if the intent was to ruin Jenson slowly or take him out with several failed attempts. I think we need to wait until Jorrah is questioned to find out for sure... if they can convince his government to turn him over. Thank you for your review and your support, Def. I really appreciate it.
  9. Wow... just wow. Like B, I read this at work during my coffee break. OH MY GOD! You are the absolute master of the love scene This was incredibly hot, but at the same time it was loving and worshipful and seemed to be a cell deep need for both of these men. The love they feel translates into every kiss, every touch, the need to bring pleasure to the other. I also loved how Craig's teasing personality started to come out. I have a feeling that side of himself has been buried for a very long time. Wonderfully done.
  10. I was so happy for Patrick in this chapter. He is not only gaining a partner, he's gaining a little boy and extended family... a family that doesn't know he has money and likely doesn't care. I also get Patrick's tears. They are tears of happiness and tears of release. Very cathartic. I loved that Peter already had a plan to stay in London and this wasn't a last minute scramble to find another job and leave Denmark. I think that might have put too much pressure on the two of them. Great chapter Tim!
  11. I'm sorry I took so long to review this chapter. I thought I already had. From the first time I read this story I've always loved the relationship that developed between Patrick and Michael. Even with the language barrier that sweet little boy gravitated towards a sweet and kind hearted man. I think it was something they both needed. The relationship between Peter and Patrick might have developed quickly but both of these men are adults who know how hard it can be to find love. Neither seems inclined to give that up. I can't wait to read more. I have missed them.

    Chapter 23

Thank you, Dugh. Your support means so much to me
  13. I have to admit, I did bite my nails a little with M and K waiting to see what Candy wanted from them. I breathed a sigh of relief when she finally said what she needed to say. I know that family can sometimes really mess with your perspective and your behaviour, but I have to wonder if something else would have happened to warp her beliefs so badly. She didn't just deliberately get pregnant... she actively made it happen through deceit. I'm happy she seems to be seeing the light now thanks to the love of a good man, but that is a very deep pit to climb out of, and its going to take a lot more soul searching to have the changes in her stick, for good. I wish her luck in her own redemption, but I'm also relieved she doesn't want visitation. She needs time to work on herself, and let herself be happy. About Nodie... they are incredibly sweet and supportive of each other. I really like that about them. They're attracted to each other of course, but their main focus seems to be their friendship and mutual respect of each other. I think that will maintain them in the long run. Even if they don't end up as life partners, I think their friendship will last for life. I feel badly for Josh. It's terrible to think that someone has to hide who they are, but it really isn't safe for him to be the only 'out' kid in his school... at least not that school. I know from experience that small towns and small schools can have their drawbacks. Great chapter, Gary! I'm getting excited for the wedding and the new baby

    Guilt

So it seems that Philip is harbouring guilt for introducing Tait to Sean. I understand it, but Tait was right, Philip didn't know the future. I like the friendship that these two have. Philips is clearly in love with Tait, but he really just wants him to be happy and healthy. I wonder what's going to happen about the house? Who actually owns it? What are the property laws in LA that would apply to them? Sean sounds like a loose cannon, so I hope that Tait doesn't decide to try to face the man alone. That won't end well.

    Chapter 23

As I said in my response to Puppilull's review, no one likes to be backed into a corner. Jenson is a very private man, so having his private life exposed will bother him, but he knows its for a good reason. Thank you for another great review and your support, Dr.P. I appreciate it.

    Chapter 23

I don't think there was any way I could have kept J out of the investigation. If Merrick wasn't keeping him in the loop I could have seen him starting an interplanetary incident by stealing a shuttle and heading to Alectera without permission. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying not only the story, but the writing as well. It does an author's heart good

    Chapter 23

Chapter 23 Merrick followed Senator Elsan to the throne room, aware of his surroundings, but deep in thought. It had been a productive morning for the investigation so far. When the Alecteran came to their room, he confirmed that individual interviews had been arranged with the counseurs. Just prior to the senator’s arrival, Landin discovered the name of the Ultec ship and its captain, and forwarded the information to Jenson and the human investigator. Fortunately the ship was still in
  24. Great review, Tim! This was one of my favourite stories. I loved Peter Seriously, what wasn't to love?? And ranting about KbR was one of our favourite pastimes I It's a story on my 'read again soon' list.
  25. Jared handled the news much better than I would have thought. I know he would never feel differently about his daughter, but I guess I expected more anger about Carly playing God in his life. I guess he's used to her trying to control his life at this point though (with the issues he's having with visitation and being told to say away from Craig). I wonder how many people ever really chose Jared? Except for his sister, the rest of his family is never mentioned. How do they feel about him being gay? I know he's a stand up guy and that's a big reason why he married Carly when she said she was pregnant, but did his family have anything to do with that decision? Craig's comment about bottoms had me giggling out loud. I think it was just what they needed to alleviate some of the tension, even if it was at Craig's expense. lol I like that Craig can laugh at himself. That's a great quality for a person to have.
