Jenson has been in a lot more pain than he has ever let on. i think the only people who might realize are his father and his sister. I think it's hard for Jenson to know how close they came to everything they wanted... only to have it destroyed. Kel's race did have a slightly longer lifespan than humans, but not by a lot, so yes, Kel's father would be long dead by now. Thank you for another great review and all of your support. I appreciate hearing from you.

Jenson's loyalty is outstanding. It is very important to him. Merrick is a good friend for him and realized that Jenson needed to tell Kel's story. Chapter 12 “Kel was my lover, Merrick. If things had turned out differently, he would have been my husband.” Jenson’s words didn’t really surprise Merrick. After what he had witnessed at the house, and the loving way the vampire had said his goodbyes at the funeral, he’d guessed the brindle-haired man meant more to Jenson than a mere acquaintance. Sadness briefly clouded the vampire’s features before clearing again. If Merrick hadn’t been looking directly at him, he would have missed it

I'm happy Noel is staying, and that he is coming to terms with what it means to have two other souls inside of him. His talk with Simon was really good. I think it helped to set some things right in his mind. Knowing that any romantic feelings towards Diarmid are his, and his alone, will give him some comfort. The fact that Simon doesn't like him will actually make what he said easier for Noel to believe. I like the idea that he wants to see Diarmid through Luis and Tristan's hearts. It's like getting an impression of the man, through his friends. It's a good way for him to look at things and might help him deal with his new reality. I have a question about the souls. but I'll address it in the forum

It was a tough chapter for Jenson. I think it was tough for Merrick too, though. He had no idea his friend was going through so much guilt and so much pain. I hope the next few chapters will give some answers for everyone. I really like Audra too. I think she would be great to have on your side. Thank you for your support and your review, B. For me this story wasn't as much about forgiveness as it was about redemption. I am happy that Rob forgave David, but I'm more proud that David had worked to change himself before he ever saw Rob. He did it without any idea if he was going to see Rob again. That, for me, tells me he has honestly changed and won't willingly hurt Rob again. Wonderfully done, Tim

I do love Rob chapters... but you ended it before he told off the bigots! Of course that just means another Rob chapter It's interesting how observant Rob actually is. He noticed that Trevor's interest in Nelson and he notices other people watching Eric and Nelson. I wonder if he's that observant about himself? -
Kel actually seeing Jenson may be a source of pain for Jenson, as much as it could be a source of comfort. We'll have to see how Jenson deals with everything. I don't think finding out who Kel was will affect Merrick's feelings either. As for the scientist? I'm not sure where that is going yet, I just know he likes to get a rise out of Audra. lol Thank you for your support and another great review. It is appreciated

Chapter 11 Jenson touched Kel’s face, his neck, and caressed his hair. The touches were light, but urgent. He could hear Kel’s heart thundering in his thin chest. His breaths were rapid and shallow.
