    Thanks for taking us on this surprisingly sweet and tender journey, an unusual thing for a vampire story. This is really a story about loneliness and finding family as much as it is about a race who is violent by nature. Great job, Albert. Cheers!

    Hey, Bill! No, I haven't written a follow up of this story, though I have never stopped considering it. Like you, I can see their life unfolding and actually being quite a journey, so if I ever do start a continuation, I will have lots of places to go. Milton Sarasin truly was a bastard, one of those hard men who saw the new frontier as a kingdom to be had. Some men are never satisfied. I got caught up in rereading this one, and felt all those feels again. Thanks so much for your interest and kind words. I don't know who is happier, Cholo or Wiley. Cheers! Gary
