    Just had my second shower for the day. I was covered in sawdust... spent hours milling lumber... and looked like an alien. It's rather mild here, and sunny. Going to go feed in a few minutes, and then make some supper and watch something on TV. Maybe "Where the Crawdads Sing" or I might start "Andor". I'm caught up on "Yellowstone".

    Thanks for these, Parker. Both are brilliant in showing how we relate to ourselves (and also in the writing). If those who love us see 'perfection', it is more than enough. Life takes it's toll on our bodies, but fortunately we hold on to our ability to love, even if it takes longer to walk up the stairs. There is a danger to the quest for perfection... narcissism is a roadblock to love, and satisfaction will always be elusive. I accept who I am... and the journey which made the marks. Cheers!

    Had my furnace serviced today, and he raved about my renovations. He installed my central air years three years ago. Said I do really good work... he has no idea.
