I'm not sure massaging a broken ankle seven days from the break is such a good idea. -

2026 Secret Author Contest - Forbidden Knowledge
Jason Rimbaud commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Nope, I think I'll skip this year as I did last year. I'll let better people tackle this Secret Author contest. I'll sit back and watch all the chaos without participating or causing it for a change. -
NOt gonna lie, I never saw that page/thread until you made me curious enough to go have a look. How can I be a member for twenty years and still not know anything about this site!

I think I overdid it yesterday. I am feeling like gross things that come out that back there place. I think I'm going back to sleep. -

I am going to blame this entire comment on the painkillers I am popping like candy to feed the only thing trapped in a box...my addiction to painkillers. I don't have any of those boxes, I am in therapy! . Okay, lets try to be serious... I usually attack things head on. I don't like to let things fester. When things bother me, I usually hyper-fixate on it until I come up with a plan. Then, even if that plan might take months to achieve, I no longer worry about that thing as I have devised a plan to correct the problem. I am really good at keeping work stress at work, and home stress at home. No matter what is happening at work, the moment I leave the restaurant, usually I forget about it until the next day. I usually live completely in the present. I rarely worry about the future (unless there is a plan I have devised already) and only use the past as a tool. My therapist says it is the most healthy yet unhealthy way to live. As my husband, lives exclusively in the future, worrying about things that haven't even happened yet. For all the work I do, my blood pressure is rather low for a 51 year old with no medication. I have very little anxiety anymore. I used to be paralyzed by crippling panic attacks. I think for about two years I lived in one long panic attack. And with the help of therapy, I began to address certain things. My biggest trigger was my allergies. I would have trouble breathing and my mind would start focusing on me having a heart attack. That would lead to a spiral into me getting hyper focused on death and this sent me to many trips to the emergency room under the belief I was one step away from death. Apparently doing a bunch of cocaine and painkillers was not a smart thing to do. I have sense given up on most things that alter my brain chemistry. I still drink and use nicotine products, but I have no caffeine, no painkillers of any sort, with the exception of the last six days, where I have been enjoying them muchly, and my anxiety levels have dropped to nearly non-existent.

If you look closely, it's actually three knights and one Fabulous One! And as try as I might, no one would join me in the Sacred Knights of Trolling Krista. -

I know for the joke I should have a witty comeback...but it was actually a pair of slip on Pride Shoes that had zero fucking traction in the rain. Just another way for retailers to keep the gay men down. If anyone needs good traction on slippery surfaces it's gay men! I know right, Myr actually contacted me and thanked me for taking some time off. It was very thoughtful of him. . You mustn't be follicley challenged, if you were, you'd know it's always the defining factor. -

Wow... While I was laid up with a broken ankle, all of you are tarnishing the good name of Jason Rimbaud. I can somewhat forgive Jeff as he was responded to the Fabulous One's comment, but she just threw me under the writing/righting cart without so much as a mention from me. That's a random drive-by assassination of my character. I'm mortified, victimized, and slightly turned on. Must be my Catholic Guilt coming through. -
Is that when Zombies attack? Asking for a friend, I don't actually believe in Zombies. If I did, I'd be camped out in front of Tom Hanks house. Because I want to be the one that takes out Zombie Forrest Gump. Bit of Trivia that may or may not be true. John Travolta turned down Forrest Gump. Maybe i would have liked it then.

Mass Effect is making me think twice. Though it could be all the drugs I'm currently taking, but if you listed it, doesn't that mean you want me to write a story about it? That is the rule, right?

That's only because I didn't want everyone rushing over to see and give them even more views. . Wouldn't it be funny if the story we were complaining about was the same story? -

Oh, I see how it is now. I get a fabricated, probably drug influenced fantasy, Um, read the quote below, Sir Lee. It's a city wide problem no one is discussing. Their latest tactic, they cover themselves with that camera resistant material that won't allow digital cameras to capture them. It's a real crisis! -

I plan on reading books here
Jason Rimbaud replied to JBailey580's topic in Random Thoughts and Statuses
Welcome, there are many great stories on this site, many written by the people who have replied to you already. You wouldn't be hurting to check out any of them first. Since you are new here, and do not know all the ends and outs. When you read an author you like, on the main story page, there is a button you can hit to leave a recommendation for that story. You don't have to write anything, just hit a few boxes. It does a long way to helping your favorite story or author get wider recognition. There is also ways to comment on each chapter and many stories have a healthy and fun comment sections. But if commenting isn't for you, please at least leave a recommendation on the main story page in support of your favorite author. And if you have any other questions, at the top menu bar, there is a tab for more, hit that and there is a great resource FAQ's that help you navigate the site. Welcome! -
Wouldn't that mean you don't need a job? Hiring managers are insane, having been a consult for years directly responsible of hiring thousands of people over my life, I hire more for personality, (granted I am in the hospitality business) and less for experience depending on certain job types. I can teach people to do things, I can't teach them a good attitude. This technique rarely fails me, only a dozen or so times.

That is very reasonable and wise thing to say. Now spill it and tell everyone who it is!!! hahahaahahaha. Only half joking, the half that is serious is probably still drugged. -
