There does seem to be some kind of motive for him to approach Gabriel peacefully. Dare I say something is going on, I wonder what. The reason could be many, I suppose. To distract Gabriel from the hit, to distract Gabriel because they think he's the shooter, for revenge for botching the Tokyo job, Mehmet's insurance, who knows what I chose for the reason. Maybe they didn't think Gabriel would track them that fast. Or they want him to find them, and it could be trap. Who knows what danger lurks in the hearts of men?

I hope it continues to get more suspenseful in the next few chapters. We can hope our hero is changing. You never know with me. It could be like a soap and long lost half-brother?

Then I'd say keep doing what you're doing. Your stories seem to have triple the number of readers I get, so you are on the high side of readership. You really don't need a title anyway; it doesn't give you any perks other than bragging rights and a bit more visibility for readers to find you. I'd actively seek it if I got like a free Premium Membership, then I'd actually start writing good stories and stop being a pain in everyone's back there place. Good stories always rise to the top. So maybe keep on trucking on and let people find you organically.

Just remember, I don't speak for GA and have given very little thought of promotion and or what it takes to achieve it. I could be completely wrong. I usually am. This is just an observation from someone who's been here twenty years or so, give or take a year. And if we look at the past promotions, I would say all of them were deeply engaged in the community. And high readership doesn't translate to the nomination committee. Most of my readers aren't active members on the forums, if even a member. So you could have really high readership numbers, and the committee might not even know about your stories. This is a very big site, and if someone hasn't nominated you, you could get lost in the shuffle. I do know, that the Myr, our fearless wizard in chief, strongly urges people to self-promote, to engage in the community, as he has seen that as a very real tool to get recognition. GA isn't in the business of creating authors, they are a site where authors can create themselves. So my advice, get out and promote yourself. If your work is good, and I will admit I never saw your name before today, tell people what they are missing. Use GA to your advantage, cut through the noise of the other authors and take over the site as it were. You have literally thousands of visitors a month who are looking for great stories. GA is a tool, sharpen that sucker and make some deep cuts. . I will check out your work.

I also think one has to be nominated for Promising Author. I would presume that would mean one would have to be active not only posting quality stories, but also commenting on other writers' work to gain a certain level of popularity. If no one knows you outside of your stories, they are less likely to nominate you. I think the idea is all promising and other such titles are promoting a certain level of engagement with the community. I could be wrong, and if I am, I'm sure someone will correct me. But if you have surpassed all the criteria for promotion already, then you might not even need the title. Just keep banging out good stories.

I know, you are anything but mundane. Its not a gay or straight issue, male or female, its about being boring and not being boring. Good parents, not boring, engaged, loving, bad parents, not being engaged, doesn't care and would rather screens raise their kids. The mundanes.

If you are being seen as a good parent with well behaved children, I think it speaks more to who you and your husband are as opposed to gay vs straight parenting. Good parents usually raise good kids. Simple. My question, why would any person want kids in the first place. I have a great life, money in the back, I can do whatever I wish without worrying about raising a eating, pooping, money sucking machine that lasts a lifetime. Best thing about being gay, we don't have to live in that world with all the rest of the mundanes.

Okay, this is like the third or fourth/forth time you mentioned Lemon something or other. Do you perhaps like Lemon as a flavoring? I love lemon bars and those cookies that are lemon flavored.

Since we took over Myr's thread, and he wisely bowed out a few days ago. To get us back on topic as best as anything can if I'm attached to it, I think I'm a Gen X who didn't watch the video because it doesn't matter what the differences are, I'm from the best generation, and the rest of you aren't. .

Why ruin a good thing? Considering most of the things that come out of my fingers (see what I did there) are ridiculous. It's not hard to be less self-conscious when you see the stupidity of my comments. And you give me far too much credit; only a few people like my silliness, the rest tolerate it at best.
