Chapter 6 Like a Thrown Lariat Over Horns

Fletcher, fletching on an arrow, hence, I call him Arrow and The Month. Or The Month and Arrow. . -
Chapter 6 Like a Thrown Lariat Over Horns

Good luck with that. The writing is fun and thus far has kept me entertained. I really like August (or as I am affectionately calling him, The Month) and Fletcher (who I am affectionately calling The Arrow) is kind of growing on me. The first chapter is what drew me in, one of the strongest openers I've read in a long time. You set up an amazing conflict between the boys. I kind of wished you had extended that for a few more chapters; the back and forth between the two was very amusing and filled with unsaid angst. It was rather brilliant. We shall see what the story brings in future chapters. I don't know if I will like it, but I can honestly say I can't wait for Monday to find out. -

Pray tell when have I ever said I was a real man? You really should read Frosted Hearts and you'd find out just how far away I am from a romantic. . -

Nope...not all. 🤮 -
I felt the last season WOT they really started to nail the story and find their footing. I was okay with their changes, but felt the storytelling was subpar at best. But the last season it came together. Stargate wasn't going to be a reboot but a continuation of the universe. The old show runner was given the reins and Amazon pulled the plug because they felt it was geared more to the original fans than trying to get new ones. Go figure.
-
Just like we almost got a continuation of Stargate via Amazon earlier this year, a few years ago, JMS was super close to being able to reboot Babylon 5, he was going to be the show runner. But then a merger happened and it was scraped. Two of the best Sci-Fi shows so close to giving us new stories but it wasn't to be for whatever reason. Seasons Three and Four of Babylon 5 were some of the best episodes ever, Sci-Fi or not. I just watched the entire series a few months ago for like who knows how many times.

Probably, but maybe like five really long chapters. -

I have thought about doing that. I wonder if they'd allow it. -
Thank you! It was so much fun to just let myself go and have some fun. I never attempted at such a thriller type story and who knows, we might continue the adventures at a later date. Thanks for sticking with the story!

Well, the ability to manage my own silly writing is the main reason I decided to stay at GA. Other sites wanted too much back and forth, or I had to rely on them to post things, and they always wanted it in a different format. And the guidelines aren't restrictive, or at least they aren't unreasonable. So I can't wait for the new updates.

Frosted Hearts: The End Part Two

This story generated a lot of comments. I kept getting confused when each chapter was published. Who did I respond to? Who did I miss? -
Chapter 6 Like a Thrown Lariat Over Horns
Jason Rimbaud commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 6 Like a Thrown Lariat Over Horns
Well, to be fair, it was a retelling of the last chapter pretty much verbatim. . And I had given you some small amount of grief last chapter, so I figured everything I needed to say about last chapter I did, so no reason to say it again. . And thank you, I had a wonderful three days away. EDIT: I'm a firm believer in not editing my comments. But on the off chance this sounded mean, my tongue was firmly pressed in my cheek. I am very interested in reading this story. -

Nice way to start my week after a mini vacation. Can't wait for next Monday. -
Frosted Hearts: The Bracelet

I agree with you. I hate "cliffhangers" whilst understanding how to end a chapter. If GA would allow, I would post the entire story at once so "cliffhangers" would not be a thing. -

I'm very proud of you! Now you have one more, and by the rate you're going, I don't have to rush to start posting a new story. -
I just returned from my vacation and realize today is Monday! Whoot!

Thanks! And thank you for coming back after my lack of posting. I hope I stick the landing for you.

Thank you! I'm about 90% from what I was before. I get tired more easily so I have to sit down a few times a day during my day. And most of my mobility came back but the PT thinks I'm about as good as I'm going to get. Which is still pretty cool and its not like I'm limping anymore.

I've tried watching The Next Generation four different times. It is so tedious. I never watched Voyager; by that time, I was so over Trek. Deep Space Nine was a blatant rip off of Babylon 5, so I never watched that either. The original series was okay, but overall, not for me. I watched the first season of Discovery but found it derivative, and Picard was okay, but I had a problem with Picard being put into a body the same age as the actor. Brave New Worlds held my attention each episode I watched, maybe two seasons' worth, but then I went away, as Star Trek isn't really my thing. It's too sanitized, too utopian, and boring for me. Star Wars was for kids, and Star Trek was too idealistic. I liked my Sci-Fi a bit dirty, Aliens come to mind. The Original Movies were okay, but too bright and sunny for the most part. The Next Generation movies weren't the original, so too "thinking" for me. The new Star Trek movies were too slick, and why the hell did they need to remake The Wrath of Khan? Come up with new stories, Mr. JJ. I really like the Patrick Stewart except when he plays Picard. Star Trek is boring and who needs a perfect society anyway. I like it when characters have room for growth and are a bit dirty at times. Star Trek never gives you that, and if you say Deep Space Nine does, not in the first season and if it takes multiple seasons before a show gets good, then the show isn't really good. All of the Star shows aren't for me. Whether they be treks or wars, give me John Sheridan and the shadows any day.

Awesome Dude does have some particular submission guidelines. For one, they must see the entire novel before they consider hosting it. Then they will pair you with an editor of their choosing, and you must make the changes they suggest, whether you agree with them or not. They decide the posting schedule, the photo (you can choose one from their approved list, but they won't accept any AI), and pretty much the design of the piece. And they only use word.docs. I left there about a year ago, haven't gone back since. Not because of the posting guidelines but for other reasons that I won't bother going into here.

How did you not know the word SIN? Weird.... . -
So we are six...with a few trepidations from half the Avengers. The Malik being bitchy is good and the tailie will have to earn his place next the boy. I suggest a form of daily blowjobs. As for the new additions, we shall see what happens when the chips are down. You are building up to something but. the main mystery, who is the bottom has yet to be answered. We shall see in the coming chapters. Thus far its been one handjob, not very smutty Queen Cassie. . I am continuing to enjoy this story and can't wait for next thursday
