Hey rick. I’m glad your day went well. Speaking of Mike, Mac, and tim they are three really good men. Listening to their advice and view on things is a good idea in my book. From personal experience, I can say Mike is a very sound and reassuring voice when one - I was - is faced with dealing with issues that overwhelm. As for my day, it was good. Currently, I’m sitting here with a dog asleep on my foot. That’s right, I cannot move because I don’t want to disturb her...

I’m not laughing, really I’m not, but brother took his daughter and dog for a boat ride, They were gone for a very long time... Finally, just about to ask the neighbour to lead a search party, and what do we hear but two boat motors in the distance.... A short time later, what do we see but our boat being towed by vacationers from the lodge down the lake... Oh wells, it’s quite the vacation adventure for all involved - there were two young kids in the rescue boat. Oh, and the issue appears to be a faulty gas gauge.

So early this morning, the dog was let out to do her business. She promptly runs through the woods - there's a path - to the cottage next door to see if her buddy Ozzie - a Golden Retriever - wanted to come out to play. I don't think they were up yet. Oops...

Ick! Chatting with my nephew and he noticed a spider crawling on my shoulder. That’s not happened before.

I’m at the cottage and the weather has been gorgeous, but rain is forecasted for all day tomorrow - my turn for bad weather. And, darn it, the “Monopoly shark” will probably want to play...

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for... On the bright side, you’re not melting anymore, right?

I’ll have to remember this. Then again, I am a bit of a klutz, so knocking into someone accidentally as I turn to leave isn’t beyond the realm of possibilities. Just saying...

Ranting in 3... 2... 1... I was just at the corner store. Am I asking too much when I believe the person behind me should wait until I finish my turn (esp. debit transaction) before they come right up to the counter and place their items beside mine? I mean most people know to do this, so what's wrong with the one's who don't? Were they raised in a cave? I'm not talking about items that are hot (from the hot food section) or heavy, but items that are small and easily held in hand. This has happened to me twice in the last couple of weeks. Btw, both offenders were neither elderly nor infirm in appearance. Thinking back, I wish I'd accidentally elbowed the one from today - she was that close - but, that would be mean, wouldn't it? Okay, rant over, please return to your regularly - and more enjoyable, I'm sure - scheduled programming.

Mike knows he is not the only one who loves tim, so I'd say he's good with it. Can't ever have too much love in one's life, no matter the form it takes.

As tim said, we haven’t had any of the forecasted storms, though I did hear one big clap of thunder one night. I kind of like thunderstorms, so I wouldn’t mind if we had one - as long as I was inside to watch it, that is.

My mind can’t come up with something profound or clever to say, so I’ll just say this: if this relationship works for you all, run with it. Naysayers be damned.

Yep, you’re right about the rain/thunderstorm warnings. The only thing they’ve got right so far are the heat warnings.
