As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for... On the bright side, you’re not melting anymore, right?
-
She’s a cutie, Thorn.

Good morning everyone. I wish you all a great day....

Sounds like a sibling get-together was just what all you needed. Good to hear you all had a great time, and that your brother is doing well. Edit: PS, I like that quote, too.

I’ll have to remember this. Then again, I am a bit of a klutz, so knocking into someone accidentally as I turn to leave isn’t beyond the realm of possibilities. Just saying...

Ranting in 3... 2... 1... I was just at the corner store. Am I asking too much when I believe the person behind me should wait until I finish my turn (esp. debit transaction) before they come right up to the counter and place their items beside mine? I mean most people know to do this, so what's wrong with the one's who don't? Were they raised in a cave? I'm not talking about items that are hot (from the hot food section) or heavy, but items that are small and easily held in hand. This has happened to me twice in the last couple of weeks. Btw, both offenders were neither elderly nor infirm in appearance. Thinking back, I wish I'd accidentally elbowed the one from today - she was that close - but, that would be mean, wouldn't it? Okay, rant over, please return to your regularly - and more enjoyable, I'm sure - scheduled programming.

Mike knows he is not the only one who loves tim, so I'd say he's good with it. Can't ever have too much love in one's life, no matter the form it takes.

As tim said, we haven’t had any of the forecasted storms, though I did hear one big clap of thunder one night. I kind of like thunderstorms, so I wouldn’t mind if we had one - as long as I was inside to watch it, that is.
-
My mind can’t come up with something profound or clever to say, so I’ll just say this: if this relationship works for you all, run with it. Naysayers be damned.

Yep, you’re right about the rain/thunderstorm warnings. The only thing they’ve got right so far are the heat warnings.
-
Storms, eh? I’ll send some blue sky and sun your way.

This made me smile bigly. I wonders why...

Yes, if only we could all do this...

Good morning DiCers. Yes, it’s early, but I’m heading to the cottage tomorrow, so wanted to be up early today so I can get my errands done early. Have a great day everyone. Coffee time. See you all laterz...

While I really appreciate this quote, I find I’m even more drawn to the garden in the background. Looks like it would be a lovely place to relax and enjoy oneself.

Good night everyone. The sweetest of happy dreams when your turn comes comes...

Nope. The farthest from home I’ve been from home is the east coast of Canada and Florida. Since Porto Rico is a territory of the U.S., do you, as an American, need a passport to travel there? Edit: I was curious, so I checked, and no, you don’t, but I would. Found this on a website: For Americans: Soft copies of your driver’s license and birth certificate are recommended but not mandatory. No, my only question is ‘what the heck is a “soft copy’s”? Back to Mr. Google... Soft Copy: A soft copy (sometimes spelled "softcopy") is an electronic copy of some type of data, such as a file viewed on a computer's display or transmitted as an e-mail attachment. Such material, when printed, is referred to as a hard copy . Yep, an electronic copy is what Id call it. I guess some SJW do-holder type needed a better equivalent to the term “hard copy okay, my ranting is done.

Good night and have a good evening, Mike.

Luna is all back - hence, the name - and she is really sweet, too.

I’m gearing up for another trip to the cottage next week with extended family. They’ll be 9 of us plus a 55 lb Labradoodle, so it should be interesting... Enjoy the fair, rick.

Aww. That's sweet, thanks for sharing it with us, Thorn.

Good luck, A. In my day, research citations were referred to as a bibliography. Course, that was 30+ years ago...

Good afternoon everyone. I wish you all a great day.
-
This line is a very clever descriptor, and I like it very much.
-
But, you are getting there, so congratulations is due for your success thus far, and for being able to stick with it, too.
