  1. It’s okay, tim. I survived. The final honk I heard was at 3:15 a.m., oh, and did I mention the two rounds of fireworks (I hope they were fireworks) that went off at 2: a.m.? Some people just think only of themselves... Oh wells, it’s a glorious day today, so all is good. Enjoy your day, tim.

I hear you, Wayne. Being right in the middle of Toronto - near the busiest highway in North America, or so I’ve been told - I found the most wonderful pathway through large stately trees that allows me a taste of nature. I’ve even come across chipmunks on this path much to my surprise. Of course, being able to traverse the city easily and have close access to amenities and such is great too.

Mike, my uncle uses cbd oil for severe arthritis. From what my mom told me after visiting him this past weekend, it is helping quite a bit over previously prescribed - he’s had severe arthritis a long time - medications. As for taking care of yourself, three years does seem like a long time to deal with the pain. Quality of life is important, so look at all your options and their long term/short term outcomes. Whatever you decide, all the best to you.

    Sounds wonderful, Wayne.
  5. Oh yeah, just when it was getting quiet - sporadic car horn noise - some idiot decided setting off fireworks would be a great idea. At 2a.m.! I thinks that’s over, so going to bed. Finally...
  6. You wouldn’t be woohooing if there was bumper to bumper, horn honking, shrieking and yelling going on outside your window. 🤨 Oh wait, you don’t work Fridays. I forgotted...
  7. So, the Raptors won the championship. Yay? There are going to be a lot of broken car horns tomorrow.... Oh, and when they’ll stop so I can get some sleep is the million dollar question. *sigh*
  8. A beautiful tribute to all those lost that terrible day. Thank you @Mikiesboy and @AC Benus for putting this together. And thank you to @Lyssa, @Carlos Hazday, @MichaelS36, @WolfM, @aditus, @MrM, @Dodger, @Parker Owens, @Defiance19, @Wayne Gray, @1brokNangel and @MacGreg for your contributions. Well done...
  9. This video is almost 20 years old...
  10. Good luck, Thorn. Proud of you for sticking it out rather than giving in.
  11. Good night Def and happy dreams, my friend. What a wonderful night you had.
  12. Good night Thorn...happy dreams As for me, it’s time to think about what to have for dinner. Hmm...
  13. I will be, you can count on it.
  14. Good night molly...happy dreams
  15. I didn’t think so, but once the babble monster struck it was full speed ahead and damn the torpedos. Yes, I would like to know what really happened, because it was just so ridiculous, and well, a big no no as far as maintaining the security of my building, and disruptive of my sleep, too. And, yes, @Mikiesboy‘s big news was the best part of my day as well.
  16. It turned out okay, but I got woken up at 4:15 a.m. by a knock at my door. Some idiot didn’t know or forgot the unit number of the person they were coming to see oh so early this morning. Seriously? I called the day guy who is basically the one in charge as far as I’m concerned to see what exactly was the protocol for visitors in my building. The protocol: security is required to ask visitors for the number of the unit they are visiting. Said number is then plugged into the system to bring up the unit owner/renter’s profile. Security is then supposed to call the phone number on the profile to confirm a visitor is expected. If yes, the visitor is then buzzed through the interior security door. The day guy is going to follow up with the one that was on last night to see if he did, in fact, call the visitee (yep, I just made that up ) because that would be the only way this visitor should have been buzzed through. Strangely, I did not get a phone call, so either none was made or said visitor is a complete dingbat because she forgot the unit number on the way up in the elevator.Needless to say, the birds were singing (with their tiny 🎤 s, so I couldn’t get back to sleep. As luck would have it, one of our dear friends received awesome news today, so all is right with the world. As for the night security guy? He might be in trouble for not following protocol. Oops... He also should have been more apologetic about what transpired this morning. The whole point of installing an interior security door is to prevent - among other things - stuff like this, because the same thing happened (yeah twice now, lucky me ) before the door was in place. That time, the person went to the wrong building and it was just after midnight, which wasn’t so bad. So molly, was that more than what you were asking for?
  17. Thanks, Kitt. I had no clue what AFK means.
  18. Ladies and gentlemen a little something to start your day on a great note...
  19. Congratulations tim!! I am so happy and excited for you. This promotion is well deserved.
  20. Glad you and yours are okay, molly. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.
  21. An excellent review @Cole Matthews I need to read this story again. I’m sure it will touch me as deeply as it did the first time around.
  22. Good afternoon Parker. It’s cloudy but clear here, and with no chance of rain, it’s a perfect day for a walk. Have a good day in your garden.
  23. I use an app from Apple’s app store. I didn’t even think about websites. I looked at the site you’re using and except for the timer (I don’t find timers relaxing) it looks like a good one.
  24. Good night Thorn...happy dreams
  25. The heart is for you keeping tim company.
