I’m inside after a lovely walk and staying put. I did note, there is a family having a late BBQ in my building’s yard at the moment. I hope they finish enjoying their evening outdoors before the rain starts.

Good morning, Mike and the rest of the DiC clan. I wasn’t up to early myself, I mean, it is Saturday after all. The window washer just might get to my windows today, so looks like I’ve got window washing - and, there’s a lot of it - on tap for tomorrow. I wish you all a great day.

Need to share this ‘thank you’ story, because this is something someone else might have ignored. Yesterday I was a the grocery store and one of the items I bought was dried cherries for my refrigerator oatmeal. Oh, yay, they have three packages today because sometimes there are none on the shelf. Going through the checkout, the cashier took note that one of the packages was actually cranberries. I would think most cashiers would just ring them through. I mean, why not, right? Not this lovely lady. She saw the other two were cherries, so she questioned my purchase. Needless to say, I was a happy camper because I didn’t end up paying for something I wasn’t going to eat, not to mention saving me from being disappointed when I got home and discovered what I’d done - note to self, verify things grouped together are, in fact, the same item. I thanked her a couple of times, and left the store smiling.

Been there, done that. It is quite weird, but it’s faster than waiting for someone to show up. I had a blue screen come up on my computer that needed in person intervention. It took 2 1/2 for someone to show up. Luckily my ‘neighbour’ was away, so I logged onto his computer. in the meantime. Course, it was a problem for receiving phone calls...

That’s a great tip, because I had no clue there was a difference. I like to eat raw pepper as a snack or in a salad, so I’ll keep this in mind next time I buy them.

Watching the Raptor's victory parade on TV. Looks awesome, but being in that extraordinary sea of people - the parade is about an hour behind time at this moment - isn't for me. Have a great day everyone.... 💜

He was really skinny when he shot up to 6’1” but he has filled out, so he matches his height more. He also refuses to eat any junk food now, so that’s probably helped. I’ve got the opposite problem being only 5’1”, so finding pants the right length is a bother. Oh, and I have short arm syndrome to boot, so a lot of times sleeves are too long - coats and shirts.

I hear you, but it’s good to know there’s a good place in Boston as my nephew’s going to need a place like that - currently 6’3” and he’s only 15.
