    You’ve reminded me of the family physician I went to as a child. I was seven and had an appt. with him prior to be being admitted to SickKids for surgery - I admired a porcelain tortoise that he had on his desk. To make me feel better - I’m guessing - he gave it to me. I still have it 45 years later. Looking at it takes me back to that day. It’s nice when someone impacts your life so positively, isn’t it? Replaced the weblink with a picture of the tortoise that sits on my bookshelf.

    The heart was for that man’s innate goodness. Sad that he died so horribly before he could enjoy his retirement.
