    There’s more than one type of “professional“ cuddler. Before his arthritis got too bad, my uncle was a baby cuddler in the NICU of his local hospital. The idea behind that being contact like this was good for preemies. The hospital had a volunteer program so there was always lots of cuddler available.

    Okay, so Ive started watching Nailed It! the holiday edtion, and I have to say the episode was good, but one of the judges annoyed me because twice he said you can’t melt chocolate chips you have to use candy melts instead. I suppose he might be correct that you can’t melt them using a microwave - what they have on the show - but a double boiler pot on a stovetop (they don’t have this on the show) works really well and my mom and I have used that method for years when we make Chowmein Noodle cookies at Christmas. Oh well, I’ll get over this, some day...

    Not sure how far it is, but I can walk to a grocery store - one that I like, that is - in 15 minutes, and department stores are a short subway ride away. Even though, I grew up in the ‘burbs, I don’t think I could ever leave the city now.

    Poor pup, what a beauty, he is. Is he the dog you regularly look after? Edit: Maybe, a nice walk will raise his spirits?
