  1. Nice introduction and prompt Val.
  2. The same to you and Mike, tim.
  3. Wishing for you an easy fix for your knee.
  4. Considering I was literally just five minutes away from getting caught in a torrential downpour, I found reading about wet and muddy stuff quite timely. I liked this prompt. Well done, Winged_Wolf.
  5. Enjoy your night out with your hubby, Chris.
  6. Sounds good. Thanks for the tip.
  7. Hi Solus *waves* Ambiguous break up, eh? It’s good you can laugh about it. Good night everyone. The sweetest of happy dreams when your turn comes…
  8. I made these today. They are delicious and so easy to put together. https://natashaskitchen.com/lasagna-roll-ups/#jump-to-recipe I watched the Youtube video a few times to become really familiar with the recipe as well as how to make the roll ups, and I think that made it a lot easier to do in the end. One thing I did do wrong was the mozzarella. I used store bought preshreded to make putting them together easier. It was easier, but store bought is too dry for this recipe. While they still tasted good, I’m thinking they’d taste great if I’d bought a block and shredded it myself. Live and learn as the saying goes…
  9. Oh, I don’t know about that. I’ve had 14 surgeries over my lifetime, and I only had one time when I had to wait a long time (19 days, back in ‘99), and that was because there was a crazy number of brain aneurysm patients who were more urgent than me. Sometimes, things go quick, and sometimes they don’t. One good thing, those surgeries were mostly in my childhood with the first four before public healthcare existed. Darn good thing, my dad changed jobs two months before I was born, so his company picked up the tab for my long hospital stay.
  10. It is tiring, isn’t it, tim? I’ll do my part in my little corner of the world, and I hope that will be enough. xoxo Edit: Bit like an ostrich, I know, but I don’t watch or read news, because ignorance is bliss as the saying goes.
  11. @Wayne Gray Happy Birthday!!
  12. @kbois 50lbs is an awesome achievement!
  13. Okay, I’m sure some of you may know this already. As for me, when I read the title (it was it my Chrome feed) I thought ‘how the heck do you do that?’ https://toriavey.com/how-to/how-to-seed-tomatoes/ Read the article and now I know how to seed a tomato.
  14. Never hurts to have a spare pair.
  15. The one I want comes with these gloves. Smart thinking on the manufacturer’s part, perhaps?
  16. RIP Ed Asner

    Sunday Poems

I find myself with the need to read these again and again some more to really feel what they’re telling me. I will leave you with this: How you manage to put thoughts into words like this is a marvel to me. I am in awe. As always, tim, nicely done. Edit: Take care, tim. xoxo
  18. Wishing your thumb a speedy recovery. When I get one of those things I also plan on getting the safety gloves along with it. Knowing myself, I just know it will be a good idea.
  19. 61 in Ontario, but it’s been raining - still is - all day. It’s supposed to be nice on Friday after more rain on Thursday.
  20. Loved this slice of life, molly.
