After what happened in the chapter, I think all of them should be prepared to be a bit disappointed. After all, Rusty and Matty did say or think this at the end. Rusty thinks of Matty as a lover, and Matty now feels his strategies give him a hopeful chance for a future together with Rusty.

Congratulations Clo!!!!!!! I wish you all the luck in the world. I know you will be a great teacher with your intelligence, compassion and patience. (If you can be patient with Drew, you can handle any student.)

Naughty? Naughty is doing something you shouldn't be doing. Matty and Rusty are doing exactly what they should be doing. I can however think of many words that describe what they are doing very well! Hey Paul! I have got a screen full of tabs already set up with all the stories now listed by Geron on GA. These are the ones that I haven't read before on GA, but have read on other sites. My purpose is to do just what you suggested, and write reviews for them. ❤️

In the first two chapters, the emerging characters are already quite complex. Otis appears to be a beautiful air head young man. He is naive and awkward in thinking and communicating, but is self sufficient and curious. He refers to needing his notes to remember things and seems a bit obsessive about Hudson. His beloved grandmother seemed to have been very protective of Otis, as well as taking precautionary steps to make sure he could take care of himself like using simple cooking equipment. I'm assuming that it is because Otis has a big problem with his memory. Hudson is also an interesting man. He is practical, observant and focused. Just what an undercover detective would need to survive. There are hints that he is also kind hearted. Jackie was just introduced, but gives me a creepy feeling. Don't know why yet. Maybe because Otis doesn't like him. Missy is a great ally and obviously takes care of Otis even if Otis hasn't noticed it yet. Watkins is a slime ball at best. I hope he won't be a danger for Otis or Hudson. Overall, this has a darker feel than stories you have written in the past, @Laura S. Fox.

As different as you made it sound in your comment to @Doha, I'll bet that it will also have great characters, many funny lines and a lot of love! Probably some quirky, eccentric and at least one incompetent idiot as a protagonist. Will there be another gossip rag?

I waited for this story and so happy that you have begun to post it! I am looking forward to the fun adventures of the two MCs in this alternate universe of magic. Maybe someday Charlie and Kip will travel here.

This is Great! I get to read a new Geron story, and the comments of the usual mischief makers here. I agree with @Ivor Slipper that this sounds like a longer story, so I'll need to bring my toothbrush also. It helps get rid of the popcorn hulls that will get stuck in my teeth as I read the comments. I love the start with the two boys in love, full of magic and very resourceful if inexperienced. It will make for some fun times ahead. Now the two are off to save a young prince! How often will you post @Geron Kees?

Armand rarely thinks about himself. He is so focused on others. GG and Colin do know what he needs and guide him to a great decision about adopting the new boys.
