The phone call was so fun. If only Rusty could hear himself thinking he'd know he's already in love with Matty! Getting Mighty Thor erect while listening to Matty read a zombie story over the phone was so outrageously funny! For once the the Xpress is doing something very right! Matty sure knows how to motivate Rusty. I had thought that Matty may have interrupted Rusty's dad and read him the riot act. However, it was better to keep quiet and not do the same thing to Rusty's was doing to Rusty. Better to congratulate Rusty and build his spirits. Ya got me ROFL again as Rusty had a conversation with Mighty Thor after his shower. Both want sex so much with the other, yet deny themselves to protect the other. It's a good think Matty know Catboy or he might be jealous! So much fun in this chapter!

I noticed I was having problems driving and began to be very cautious. When I found out I had cataracts I stopped driving. I had surgery for the cataracts and couldn't believe the difference. I drive again, but am still cautious. I am happy that Jimmy was OK, and feel Armand will help the carpenter's assistant. Armand is that kind of good people.

Colin did good with Ivan and his grandfather. The tenant is a clueless idiot! I think Armand will be amazed when he checks his bank account balance. Going to Richie's home will also be an eyeopener for them all, except Richie. Good chapter.

I still have a difficult time believing how idiotic the teachers are at the school! I'd be suing the school district for way idiots in administration and on the school board hire teachers! It's obvious that the school board hires the dregs of teachers who can't work anywhere else. The board seems to be biased in favor of the most incompetent and cruel fools they can hire. I'd get the kids registered at a different school or open my own. Connecticut is highly recognized in the education community as a leader in education. How they can allow a mockery like this school to exist is beyond me. GG! Some help here, pretty please!

I do love honey, and didn't know there were so many varieties of honey until I came to Thailand. Each variety has a different taste depending how which plants the bees visit and which of the 8 species of honeybees pollinate the flowers.. I especially love lychee honey. Marcel is getting a reputation that is sure to attract more members to the club. They need to get Jimmy trained and even more space for the club.

Like Page, I ate soap, but not more than two or three times. Mom rarely threatened punishment. She preferred the guilt treatment. However, swearing was her big exception to the don't punish the kids rule. She did rat us out to dad. That led to a few spankings, but those spankings were also just a few, sounded loud, but barely stung thru the clothes, and performed in the bathroom with the door closed. Also some coaching to yell when hit. I now think it was dad's way guilt mom.

Richie got a big surprise from Andre. The invitation to take Richie to see his mother's village in France will be a great experience for Richie next year.

Had to laugh at the pompous critic. I don't even think he knows the difference between Abstract art and Cubism. Photographs? He needs glasses.

This comment brought back an ancient memory. I went to meet my dad's side of the family the summer of 1966 in east Tennessee. A very cute cousin my age introduced me to peanut butter banana sandwiches, dragging the strip and McDonalds. Also his collection of Playboy magazines just before we went to bed. I was a horny teen, but too gay and innocent to look at them with him.

Wow! I never heard of this happening, even when I went to school in the 1950's! Did the school district time travel and hire teachers from medieval monasteries! I hope that Armand gets some more paintings done before the European delegation arrives. I have a hunch he might meet a few old acquaintances among the group.

Home again. I really hope that John and Mary as well as Armand's parents to for that vacation next summer. I do hope it will be longer. Two weeks is a bit short for visiting all the places Armand has friends. The boy's will be telling everyone they know, about the trip for many weeks to come.

Love the day they spent in Rome. I agree that they will appreciate Arrow's mural and the village room even more as they remember their time here.

Great start to the vacation. The flight must have been very smooth with no turbulence on the trip. Even now after dozens of flights, most long distance between the US and Asia, turbulence still makes me very nervous and on edge. I love that the boys are playing with others in the village. I know from teaching kids with different language backgrounds, the playground is the best classroom for learning a new language. Especially the words they shouldn't know. 🤪

Great comment by @Anton_Cloche and I agree with what he says. I imagine the boys' first flight will be a bit frightening, but they will be seasoned fliers on the way home.

Now that all things are settled, they will all be winging it to Italy. I am sure that Marcel and James will go to France, but maybe end up coming to Italy before the entire group heads home.❤️

Great day at the ballpark! I don't fear for James. He is much more intelligent than to fall for ML. Marcel will use his spoon to knock sense into James if needed to fend off an advance from ML. Loved the comments on this.

Another great chapter, especially for James. I thought the judges' solution was perfect for the situation. Transitions are tough for all kids entering adulthood. Having the support of Armand, Colin and their friends and family will provide a safe transition. Considering how Armand feels about James as a brother, I'm sure that support would also include furthering James education beyond what he can get from Marcel. Maybe training at a culinary institute and a degree in hospitality. University at New Haven offers a BA in Hospitality and Management.

The beds for the orphanage is settled. Jimmy's smile is lighting up the kitchen and only the baseball game is left before they all take off to Europe. I kind of hope the university students find a way to make the bedroom work for three. There are double bed/bunk bed combos that might work.

Sorry, but I had the same thought Albert! I know from experience exactly how Ivory Soap tastes. I learned after a few lessons to never swear out loud around adults. That lasted until the very first semester in college, and I didn't have to pay tuition for the crash course in new swear words.

So I'm guessing your parents never caught you swearing.

Hi Cassie! I honestly don't know and hadn't heard that, but I know there are some foods that I think taste terrible and others love. To me fresh cilantro tastes great. I know it is used in Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Mexican and Caribbean foods a lot. All SE Asian countries also.
