This is a fun story to read. It left me with a big smile on my face. I love the characters and Aunt Sally's humour left me laughing.

Hi Everyone! The last week passed quickly. Aod's parents visited us for two weeks and kept us busy. They leave on Sunday, but it has been a great visit. In between doing things with them, we've been arranging with a contractor to continue working on remodelling our kitchen. It's mainly installing organisers in the cupboards and replacing some very ugly tiles on the walls with granite to match the countertops. Today, Aod and I have appointments at the dentist. Yuk! I have to have my tooth shaped for a new cap to replace the shattered tooth that forced me to see the dentist. Other than that, we are doing well.

I see Drew beat me to the news. Thailand has legalized gay marriage. It will go into effect in 120 days. We were out tonight celebrating Gay Pride and the new law.😁 Oh! Hi Everyone!

That's a beautiful colour! Buntings in Oregon are usually Lazuli Buntings. Considering where you are living, that must have been a very exciting find.

Hi Albert! I'm fine. I had a good sleep last night and have the energy today to get and do some chores. I'm off to the bank in a few minutes. BTW I used the recipe for the bread, but I think I need to adjust the temp for baking. It was overly brown. I think I may need a new oven, or just check the bread more often. How are you and Steve?

Hi All! Sorry, I'm a little late in my update this week. Aod and I have gone out for coffee and lunch a few times. We went for dinner to a great Indian restaurant last week. I've also discovered a new bakery, and Aod found another we will visit today. The kitchen remodel is still going on, but is on hold until the contractor can find and price out a storage unit for a pantry cupboard. I've also been cooking and creating a new dip for veggies and chips that can also be the base for a tangy, creamy salad dressing. Tonight, a group of us are going out for a seafood dinner. I've gone before many times, and there's a picture of it in my GA photo gallery. That's it for this week's update. I did see what you guys posted earlier today. Sounds like the usually crazy, fun, and snarky comments.

I loved reading this excellently written story about a man, his car, and the beginning of a great romance. It is filled with great descriptions of a time that captures the reader's imagination and memories if you are old enough to have lived during this time period. I hope there will be more stories added that continue this story. I highly recommend reading this.

A beautifully written short story, but I do hope for more about Zippy, Mikey and Pete. The descriptions of the time and place were evocative of that era and what it was to live as a gay person. Thanks Doc!

Hi Gary! I appreciate the good wishes. We had dual dental appointments today. He got a cavity filled and I got a temporary crown for a shattered filling/tooth. I do hope your green thumb is not deadly like mine. I've tried to grow tomatoes several times with no luck. 🥴

Hi All I've been catching up on all your craziness. It's nice to have something stable in life to fall back on. No real updates at this time. The only thing out of the ordinary is we are hosting a friend from Bangkok for a week. We're providing a home base as he visits all his friends here. I hope you are all doing great.

Since it was well in place in my elementary school in the 50's I checked this out Page. It actually started during WW2. It was cheap and food was quickly metabolized for quick energy needed by soldiers in the field. It was one of my first meals in the first grade. I can still remember the look of that cafeteria.🤪
