    thanks Kitt last week was, well, lost it was dark & cold & difficult thanks K the sun has been out since Saturday we walked today, and it. was. GOOD! i appreciate all y'all keeping me in your thoughts

    Power's out, 4+ hours this time. overnight it was 5. staying warm under blankets with the dogs all y'all take care & be safe

    roads were clear and we were between storms so Phil went to the store when He picked Number Two Son up, it's his first storm so there was no way He was going to let Son drive, clear roads or not. good thing He did too, there were few carts in the "cart garage" area and He said most of the staples aisles were sold out. the county has done "Reverse 911" texts and voice calls regarding the coming freezing rain and sleet, Phil's department has been put on "standby" to support with power outage calls but we've got groceries, both cars have full gas tanks and we don't have anywhere to be be safe, stay warm

    no snow but tons of ice. if you saw any news footage from the Dallas area. that's 3 hours or so North of us but we got hit with it too. the wind chill right now is 15 F, i think that's about -10 C and it's not over. all y'all stay warm, dry & safe

    @Ryan Jones we support our loved ones the best we can. fresh cookies sound like wonderful encouragement i'm about to head into a weekly meeting that *should* just be an email oh wait ... it is an email, we'll just discuss Tuesday's email point by point ... thank you, i read the email already take care y'all

    hope everyone is doing well, staying warm & safe. we're getting an arctic blast ourselves, had to put on my fuzzy socks & turn the heat back on i had taken yesterday off so today was hella busy, but i got it handled watching a new to us show, C. B. Strike, it's been good so far take care y'all

    @kbois echoing everyone, well done also ... it was 82 here today flip flops all the way dinner's done, Phil's almost done with tonight's class session, i'm going to take a few minutes & put today away before He comes to the living room have a good night 🛌 🌙 🌟

    good morning everyone 🌄 i hope that @chris191070 & @Fae Briona are feeling better it's been a very long week for me, lots going on but nothing i can't handle it's just taking a bit more time on a positive note, we are walking still & last night did 1.39 miles (2.24 km) we saw hawks, deer, & a nice older gent catch a good 2 pound bass! ok, back to work hugs to you all

    good evening Sir it's like the motivational quote tim posted early in January. im paraphrasing here, life is amazing, then awful, then amazing again. but a lot of the time it is just ordinary. and it's remembering the amazing that gets you through the bad & the ordinary.
