  1. good morning! we thought about going to the farmer's market to see if they had bread and get some fresh vegetables, but we changed our minds and decided just to stay in. we humans can be pretty clever! i hope that the doctor never has to put his contraption to the test watched a couple of really good movies last night, they were foreign language so you had to pay attention to read the subtitles, but i recommend then both Shanghai Fortress aliens vs humans in the year 2035. it was really a well done piece of SciFi. set design and costuming was very video game, visually almost stunning Orbiter 9 from Spain also SciFi, a really well done psychological piece dark sets and muted colors helped set the mood have a good day y'all!
  2. i've been watching movies with Phil and He's ready to go to bed good night, sleep well see everyone tomorrow
  3. it's good to see you back Reader sometimes those inanimate object parties can get a little out of control, lol!
  4. hi rick was a pretty good day here, i got quite a bit done, work wise, no VPN issues today, just a slight lag in the network, but not too much more than we usually have we got a nice letter from our company president in Brussels, thanking everyone for their work. locally, the management team has decided to provide lunch for anyone working in the lab. other than a little cabin fever (small house, 5 people, 2 dogs) we're doing OK. how are you holding up?
  5. thanks! trapped, but working furiously right now. took a really brisk walk before lunch. the kids complained, "you didn't say a sprint Ma!" lol!
  6. love this chapter! that's all, just love this one, been waiting for it.....

  10. just told a customer about our precautions in place (signing a self declaration "I'm not sick, havent been to a hot zone etc". & a temperature scan) you know what he said? "I'm happy to comply with whatever you have in place." so nice to hear that in other news, Number Two's place of employment is closed. management is meeting at 6 to discuss what kind of relief they can provide good to hear that it's been mostly positive tim

    Today

i'll be working from home 4 out of 5 days a week starting tomorrow. i was just listening to the banter & realized i'll miss it. thank you for your words. part of your gift is the ability to put your thoughts, feelings, in to words. more often than not, we're all feeling, or have felt, those same things but have been unable to articulate them. hugs to you (safe virtual ones 😉 )
  12. good night all, stay safe & healthy
  13. thank You Sir, i had a Coke, some Tylenol & a nap so i'm much improved
  14. evening Sirs, evening all hope you had a good day i saw the eye doctor today, i'm clear to keep taking my medication for another year. developed a ghastly headache from the dialation & all the bright lights so how is everyone doing?
  15. glad you got to bring the extra monitor home, and yeah, that commute will be breeze, lol! i logged into the "My Chart" feature for our health providers to do the "E Check In" for my appointment tomorrow, couldn't proceed until i answered the COVID-19 screening questions, but i'm all set to see the eye doctor tomorrow
  16. evening all, hope you've had a good day we made it to the grocery store, no TP at all, most other sections were pretty well picked over the lines weren't terrible, in fact, they had more checkout lanes open than usual (we went to WalMart instead of our usual grocery store as we heard that they were better stocked) it was odd shopping without a list or a menu, lol! but we got some food that we can work with, including fresh fruit and veg the moms in some of my other groups are being just great! moms with kids who don't have day care or school now are trading babysitting days so that no one has to miss too much work. other moms with extra diapers are giving them to moms who need them. one mom was offering to pick up groceries. granted, this is a pretty cool group, but it's nice seeing people helping each other.
  17. went & got some fresh air & sunshine today at the first Second Saturday Marketplace in the town square. it was good to see bottles of hand sanitizer in vendors booths, people being careful, but supporting small businesses. heading to the grocery store i'll let you know how that goes when i get back.
  18. we bucked the trend and went and supported a small local business for dinner and drinks and now it's off to bed for us sleep well tonight, see you tomorrow
  19. @Mikiesboy i'll give those a read, thanks have a good day everyone

the hardest thing you'll ever have to do in a relationship is forgive your partner. the second hardest is admitting to that partner that you screwed up. well done Wayne, well done
  21. @Brayon that is really sad, i know how much your visits with your mom mean to you. @Fae Briona Daughter's best friend's campus has extended spring break & will go all online after that. Daughter's is a trade school, & as such it's 95% hands on, not sure yet what they're going to do. here, our admin & i will alternate days in & out of the office working remotely starting tomorrow. all visitors must sign a self declaration that they've not been in contact with someone who is ill, etc. our CEO is here, he was in Santa Clara, California just yesterday. he even signed it. the front door is locked, visitors will have to be buzzed in & we will discourage "witnessed" testing. @Carlos Hazday PAC 12 as well. heard anything about NHL or baseball?
  22. there is just so much wrong with that Kitt i may do that here at home, i always have aloe in the fridge for burns
