    morning Sirs morning friends the cold and damp has seeped into my bones today, been a really slow start but, today is "Hair Magic Day" (the young lady who does my hair laughs that i call it that ) i'll also finish up Christmas shopping hope everyone has a good morning

    thank you Myr, and to all the authors, and everyone else who keeps this place running. i've gotten so much out of the site since becoming a member. there are people here, authors, poets, and other members, whom i have come to love as family, simply from taking the time to comment on stories, and poems. as Myr said this is the root of our community. the writers here pour out their hearts onto these pages. they love hearing that their words mean something to someone else. it's the only compensation they get, knowing that i, as did @Mikiesboy above, urge readers to become members. there is so much to gain from being here and being involved. here's to a wonderful 2020

    The best part of the CEO coming to visit is a team lunch. We're a small group, 13 when all the usual suspects are here. We all ate together in the break room. Well, we've been noticed. We're doing more with less. Colleagues from other locations who have come through here also have noticed how tight we are & how well we work together. It felt good to have that acknowledged.

    step at a time is the best way, rick! my day was good thanks, a bit hectic, but overall good our CEO will be here tomorrow, so we all spent about 30 minutes making sure the offices and labs looked good how was yours?

    i was on high cholesterol meds for years, recently i've been able to stop taking them. what i'm saying is that it might not be forever. but as tim says, it sure beats the alternative. as for the vitamin D being low, along with a short course of a Vit D supplement my doctor recommended more time outdoors. you got this Wayne 💜

    meeting "the family" is always stressful, so i'm happy to hear that it went well my day was quiet, just the usual house chores, a lousy football game, and the end of a hotly contested President's Cup.
