Yes it is! I 100% support mental health awareness! So many people are ashamed to need help with their mental health, which is sad! No one is ashamed to get their high blood pressure treated. Mental health is no different. Maybe my career (nurse) influences that mindset but hopefully one day we’ll get rid of that stigma.

Haha that’s funny! It is set in Canada, although for some reason I made up the city names. Not sure why. They are exactly based on the small city I live near! My spelling and choice of words gave me away I guess 😂

That is actually a great idea. It would be impossible for me to narorrate from Liam’s perspective, but an epilogue from joshs perspective is a neat idea! I will explore that. Originally chapter 16 was going to be the last, with an epilogue afterwards but while I was editing I realized I hated the ending and deleted it all and rewrote from there so the epilogue isn’t set in stone any more. I will give that some thought.

I’m glad he got a diagnosis and has started to treat his diabetes. Hopefully he listens to the doctor and gets a insulin pump, those things are amazing and change lives. I also hope that the closeness that this has brought to him and his mom isn’t short lived. I hope this is the kick they need to get their relationship back on track. Her husband doesn’t seem like such a bad guy after all. great chapter! Looking forward to more 🙂

We haven’t found out what was going on with Josh prior to his suicide, and I have put a lot of thought into this and to be honest I don’t know if we will. At least not the whole picture. As is often the case the ones left behind never really know. Thank you continuing to comment! I really appreciate that.

When I awoke the next morning Toby was no longer spooned up behind me. I rolled over to my other side and felt along Toby’s side of the bed. When I couldn’t feel him I opened my eyes. He wasn’t in bed with me, and his side of the bed was cold. I was comfortable and would have loved to stay in bed a little longer but my bladder let me know it was time to get up. Me too. Parts of this story are based on my own life and experiences and parts of it are based on what I wished were my experiences. Liam's dad definitely goes in to 'things I wish I had growing up' category.

I myself am Bisexual, and currently in a monogamous marriage to a man. Most people just assume I am gay since I am in a gay relationship, when I was with women people just assumed I was straight. It doesn't really bother me, but I do have some bisexual friends who it bothers a lot. I have gotten some grief from friends and family about how I must be confused, or too scared to be gay etc. and you're right it comes from both the LGBT and straight communities. But oh well! I am happy as I am, I am faithful to my husband and thats really whats important.

I will admit, I was panicking a little when dad told me mom was in the hospital, my mind went through all the worst case scenarios. I had just lost Josh, I couldn’t lose my mom too. Turns out as usual I was being a little dramatic. Mom had fallen off a ladder in the back yard, why she was up on a ladder I don’t know. But she fractured her right ankle, right upper arm, and right collar bone. They couldn’t do anything at our small hospital in town so mom got transferred to Branston. She needed sur

Great chapter! It was nice Nathan and Robbie got a chance to be alone. I am still curious about what happened between Alex and Nathan, hopefully we get to find out. i also wish I could have been a fly on the wall when Nathan’s parents and Don and Sue all hung out together. cant wait to see what happens next 😁
