Chapter 72 Better than the Best Thing Ever
Kjamieson commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 72 Better than the Best Thing Ever
Well Daniel finally knows! I wish we got to see what happened after, but there's always next chapter! Can't wait for it! -
Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment.

Thank you for that comment, to hear that your writing actually made someone else feel something is a pretty incredible thing. There is a bit more sad in the story, but there's some happy too. I hope you end up liking it.

Uh oh! He kissed the boy his brother had a crush on! so he should probably talk to Ian about that. Find out if he does in fact still have feeling for Dex. Also if Dex does have feelings for Zane, he should also probably talk to Ian about it! Oh the drama of teen boys! Can't wait for more

Chapter one: It was the middle of May. May 20th actually, and it was an unseasonably warm day. The sky was blue and the sun was shining, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I’m sure if I listened hard enough I would have heard the birds chirping. I wasn’t listening for that, I was standing in the middle of the cemetery where we had just buried my brother. The funeral service had been over a few hours by now, I’m not sure exactly how long but there was no one left. Just me, alone. I had

Chapter three: Toby looked good, he had obviously showered and shaved. He didn’t look as lost and disheveled as he had this morning. I got into his car with the usual pleasantries, the ride was mostly silent, though not uncomfortably so. At first his driving seemed aimless until he turned north to go out of town. We were going to ‘devil’s pasture’ it was a large parcel of crown land with a river running through it where we had all camped numerous times through the years. It was also Jos

Chapter two: I woke up the next morning groggy, I realized immediately that I was not alone in the bed. There was an arm draped over my abdomen, a body pressed up against my back and the tickle of breath on my neck. As I came around I recognized the body behind me as Toby. I held on to his arm and cuddled in closer, relishing the warmth of his touch. I felt sick with myself to be enjoying something like the touch of a man, my brothers best friend but I couldn’t stop myself. Lying in b

That was a good chapter. Billy and Brett are in a good place, and they both seem to have grown up and matured quite a lot. If Billy's parents didn't already know I'm sure they do now after all that noise

I don't understand Cindy, yes Luke disobeyed you but he's 18, pulling him out of school and never letting him leave the house is a ridiculous thing to do. Although I'm sure she's just been waiting for a 'reason' to do just that. Henry's comment about about waiting for him, and having faith piqued my interest, does he know? Or suspect that they are more than friends? It didn't take Jackson's parents long to figure it out. Speaking of Jackson's parents, that was such a nice gift to give the two of them! Love it, can't wait till the next chapter.

Great chapter. It's great to see Nathan and Robbie's relationship out in the open, it must be quite a relief to not have to hide who you are any more. I'm kind of nervous for him telling Daniel and Don. I don't think Daniel will have a problem with Robbie being gay, more about the fact that neither Robbie or Nathan told him. Either that or he already knows, and that's why he was acting distant with Robbie before the accident. Don on the other hand I'm not sure how he will react. Can't wait to see.

This chapter made me happy. It's nice to see Ryder and Teddy getting closer. Ryder is starting to open up and I want to know more! You are are quickly becoming one of my favourite authors on here. 😁

Chapter 70 Canada Day Part 2
Kjamieson commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 70 Canada Day Part 2
I've read this chapter twice now because I liked it so much. I'm so glad Sue said something to Robbie, and that his coming out to her went well. She said 'we' a lot so I'm wondering if Don also knows? And how he feels (or will feel) about it. Because although he's not blatantly homophobic there has been a few times reading the story that I get the feeling he doesn't 100% approve of Nathan. Also enjoyed Robbie and Nathan's time together, it was nice to see Robbie rediscover those feelings for Nathan! -
Great start! I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going? Maybe in a Teddy and Ryder direction?

Thank you for the great story. It was wonderful watching Riley escape his old life and grow in to a good son, friend, boyfriend, and all around good guy.

Wtf? How can Bruce being suing them? Riley is the reason Owen is alive! No wonder Owen was such a little douche in the past, gets it from his father. Hopefully he's learned his lesson at least. And trying to prevent them from fostering and adopting Tak? That's just stupid! They are such great parents. Look at the way Walter is continuing to stand up for Riley, making sure he stays free. In sure I've mentioned it before but it bears repeating. I love Riley and Carter together. Just wondering though, if they aren't out as a couple to anyone other than Aaron, others must be suspicious. What with Carter spending the week Riley was gone holed up in his room crying, you usually don't react that strongly of it's just a friend, and Riley insisting on seeing Carter before anything else? Love it, and soooo appreciate you not making us wait super long for chapters!

Oh my goodness!! thank goodness you post frequently, or the suspense would kill me! But seriously Riley, what were you thinking?? should have listened to your grandpa!! loving this story!
-
Wow. That is such a heartbreaking story. I am sorry you had to live through that. I've heard stories of parents kicking their children out and it makes me so sad. Parents should be the people in your life who love you unconditionally, but sadly that's not always true. i applaud you for suffering through what you did and coming out on the other side. You have remarkable strength, to not only live through (and eventually thrive) what you have, but also to share your story. I hope life is much kinder to you now and always.

The secret is out! We'll kind of, I'm glad Aaron discovered what's been going on with Riley and Carter. Riley is having a hard time accepting this about himself, maybe Aaron's acceptance of him will help him realize that really it is normal, and okay and that he doesn't have to hide it forever. Although knowing Riley it might take a while for that to sink in, if it ever does. what else can I say, I love carter and Riley together and I think Carter is really good for him! Might be a little weird with Aaron for a bit, but I'm sure it will all work out for the best!

I loved the whole chapter, but my favourite part was definitely the way Riley opened up to Carter. He's really letting his guard down and it's sweet to see Carter getting through that rough exterior. Even though Riley can't see it now, I really hope he does open up to his family about his relationship with Carter, I think they will be understanding. Looking forward to to the next intallment 🙂 P.s. Loved seeing this chapter through Carters eyes!

Chapter 69 Canada Day Part 1
Kjamieson commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 69 Canada Day Part 1
What a nice time with Nathan, it's nice they can be alone together! Nicola turning off her phone wasn't a smart move. I hope Robbie isn't too distracted to get up and dressed incase sue does come home, or she might catch Robbie and Nathan in the act. As as always looking forward to the next chapter 🙂 -
Principal's Office Madhouse!
Kjamieson commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in Principal's Office Madhouse!
Another great chapter! so it seems Walter and Nancy are onto the fact that Cy may have threatened the case worker! I wonder what they will do about that? It was really nice to see Aaron stand up for Cy! Even though he's a jerk I kinda feel bad for Owen, hearing that even your friends don't really like you would have to hurt. looking forward to the next chapter, and definitely looking forward to one from carters perspective too 🙂 -
That initial report made me sad! Riley is finally Turing his life around and accepting his new family and his new life, really letting people in. I don't know what he had done to make her come in to the interview with her mind already made up. Hopefully his threats worked and he gets to stay. Although I'm sure Walter and Nancy would fight for him. i liked seeing him and Aaron acting like brothers! And he's definitely showing more vulnerability with his new parents! It's nice to see him turning to them when he's uncertain.
-
Wow! Cy really wants his new life. It's good to see him fight for it. I can't believe his case worker, someone that narrow minded should not be in that job! Everyone deserves a shot at happiness. I really hope he gets to stay. Can't wait till the next chapter.
