hehe, Justin's the one wishing for something, but no there's nothing between them besides friendship. Most students do live on campus obviously, but Bailey has an exception... which you all have picked up on quicker than Declan did
Yes, you're right, tags can, and probably will, change. As I wrote back to drought's review, I have been considering a little sexual interaction, so the 'no sex' tag might change. Declan has been influenced too much by Chris, his team captain, who is a bit of an egotistical jerk. He doesn't see what it's doing to him... yet.
As Tim says, tags may change. I have been debating adding in one lately, so it's not off the table, but my initial plan didn't have it in there. I would expect it to be pretty mild, maybe even a little clumsy as they would be new to sex... So we'll see!
As for Declan immediately assuming Bailey's dad is away, I probably should go back and clarify that Declan's dad tends to travel for business a lot too, so that's why he would make that assumption...
Yeah, I've pretty much stereotyped Chris into a muscle-bound egotistical jerk who's projecting that to his team. Gymnasts are very muscular and strong (I know, I have one!), Declan just has to realize there are different types of strength...
"You're worthless, Foster!" Chris snapped at him as soon as practice was over and they were in the locker room. The quarterback shoved at Declan's shoulder, causing him to bump into the lockers.
Declan shoved back, sneering at the arrogant son-of-a-bitch whose big mouth had caused all the trouble in the first place.
"I fucking matched that little runt, one-for-one, and you know it! I stopped because the coaches arrived," Declan defended. There was no way he was going to let some gym
Yes, I am using the dumb football player stereotype to emphasize Chris's egotistical nature. He's projecting his 'we are the best' attitude to his whole team, but unfortunately needs to show it by trying to berate fellow classmates. Declan is currently a follower and finds himself falling prey to his own ego here.
The first 6 chapters are Declan's story, then in Part 2 you'll see Bailey's story of the same events, starting back with this push up contest. So you'll get to see what Bailey was thinking about how Declan was reacting and everything.
There is definitely some posturing, some egos going to be bruised, but I have taken a little liberty with using a stereotype, especially with Chris and Eric, to exaggerate their reactions. The fact that the football team hasn't bothered to recognize that the gymnasts are just as capable (as they follow their egotistical captain--Chris) is the main source of conflict.
I wasn't as dark as your thoughts? Well, maybe I'll have to work on that, hehe! But not in this story. This one will be much milder compared to many of my others.
I'm so glad you have enjoyed Kayden and Damien's story. Thank you for coming back and letting me know what you thought of it I greatly appreciate any and all feedback!
hehe, they can be rather wild from what I understand--not that I have any personal knowledge of such a thing
Ryan is settling in to life with Shane and Colt fairly well, especially since he never had anyone there for him before.
