Chapter 39—Epilogue He's so beautiful... lying there. My Kye, my amari, my dulchine, my strong, stubborn love. My consort. My beautiful knight. I can't help but admire him, stretched out on his stomach on our bed, the sheet tantalizingly low across his hips. His arms are wrapped around the pillow that he has his face buried in. The soft splay of his golden hair fanning the pillow and brushing his shoulders. Of course I see the scars. I know he views them as a display of his failures,

Oh, I don't know if I'd do that to Kye after all he's been through Thank you for reading and glad you've enjoyed it!

I like to think he did, struggling on the floor and knowing he was dying...

As Falling Apart Comes To A Close... Here's Where I Am...

Thank you, Drew and drpaladin! I hope you do enjoy it, Reader. I totally understand waiting for a story to be done to read it. Carlos and Headstall--it definitely is tough to decide... Before, I was all set to start the gym one then FA snuck in there. Thanks all! -
My husband dresses up in his renn faire pirate costume and we hand out candy. My sister brings my nephew down to our house (since they live on a mountain in WVA) and my girls take him around the neighborhood. Most of the time my mom and dad come over and hang out as well. Our neighbors are all out and we just have a good time socializing between trick or treaters.

As Falling Apart Comes To A Close... Here's Where I Am...
craftingmom posted a blog entry in Craftingmom's Blog
Well, after ten long months, Falling Apart is coming to its conclusion. Sorry it has taken so long, but it is also my longest story to date. I hope it was worth waiting for. So now that FA is done, I'm asking myself, what next? I did write an anthology story for the Fall Blindsided theme. I am still trying to think of a follow up for Santa's little Helper, hopefully even in time for this Christmas. And I'd really like to maybe use a few prompts again. Maybe even do the Special Anthology... As for the next long story, I'm considering two at the moment. I already have a small start on a gymnastics/boys prep school story, but I've finally come up with an idea for the third Neko story as well. I'm torn between which one I want to do. I'm thinking the gymnastics one--1) because I think it will be somewhat short, and 2) I need to work on re-reading Tears and Blood of the Neko to get back into my characters heads before writing a sequel. Maybe I'll end up working on both at the same time—that's never happened for me, but you never know. Anyway, I guess we'll see. If you have any suggestions or would like to stake a claim on what you'd like to see coming, please feel free to let me know. Cheers!- 8 comments

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, it was for the spring anthology--Crossing the Line. You probably got a notice that it was edited, which is that it will now be the first of "The Line" series of short stories. The next one will be out as part of the fall anthology--Blindsided, and looks at Ryan's POV. I have an idea of what I want to do for the third, but haven't gotten any further than just thinking about it yet.

I wouldn't have let anything REALLY bad happen here at the end, well, probably not...

Awww, thank you so much!!! It is hard to believe it's been 10 months! Sorry it took so long! Two more chapters left!

I know I'm bad about leaving cliffhangers! I can't believe it's been 10 months either! Glad you have enjoyed it. Two more chapters to go.

I very much agree that mental chains are often harder to throw off than physical ones. So glad you have been enjoying the story.

Thank you!

Chapter 38 "—drink, please—" Huh? I tried to pry open my eyes, but they didn't want to work yet. I felt my head lifted, and it just wobbled in the hand holding it until they tightened their fist. The movement jostled nerve endings, sending an acute pain from somewhere. Fuck, that hurt! Why the hell were they waking me? I was just fine asleep and blissfully unaware of that blazing ache. I wasn't even sure I could breathe right anymore. It felt so hard to drag in a breath now. Soft a

It is a great story! I loved it! -
Chapter 37 Barrett apparently intended to keep my smaller body blocked by his as we passed by the open lanes between buildings. The first lane was the one right next to father's inn, where Tareth had talked to Anders yesterday at the small table there while I'd gone in to confront my father. Gods, that seemed like ages ago now. Having lost the fight for my freedom, my energy drained, I took a long time to look about me—past Barrett and Erick—and noticed that the sun was attempting to peek

Chapter 36 Oh, Gods. My breath came in ragged pants as I tried to straighten, edging away from the huge man blocking the doorway. Why? Why would he be here? Shouldn't he be running as far away from here as possible? "Barrett. Wh-what are you doing here?" I stammered. "Oh, amistrato, my pet, has it been so long that you've forgotten your training?" the marquis purred, almost seeming friendly. I knew better. "I'm not your anything anymore," I said, trying to tame my shaking voice, wh

It's sort of become standard practice now, that whenever policemen, firemen, paramedics, etc come into what ever restaurant we are in, that my husband will get up and pay for them. It's happened quite a few times, sometimes with as many as ten people. It's funny now when me or the girls see them coming, we start grinning and wondering how long before Mike gets up to go pay. Mike knows the people in our Chikfila so well that if he sees a police car ahead of him in the drive through, he can tell the server not to charge them and he'll take care of it when he gets up to the window. Sometimes the manager splits the cost with him now. One time at the Chinese buffet place, the poor firemen had just sat down to eat when they got a call. One was able to stay as he was on a different truck not called out. We paid for their meals as well as the sheriff and detective who where in the restaurant as well. Another time, we were in a booth next to this older man who was eating by himself. So we paid his check as well. We left before he even asked for his check and found out it was paid.

Thanks Parker! I think you were right to offer to send out the FEDs to put me in the Author Protection Program.

I think that's the best descriptive reaction I've ever gotten! Thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
