  1. The first 6 chapters are Declan's story, then in Part 2 you'll see Bailey's story of the same events, starting back with this push up contest. So you'll get to see what Bailey was thinking about how Declan was reacting and everything.
  2. HAHAHA. Yeah, I know this is really mild for me! I hope you still like it!
  3. There is definitely some posturing, some egos going to be bruised, but I have taken a little liberty with using a stereotype, especially with Chris and Eric, to exaggerate their reactions. The fact that the football team hasn't bothered to recognize that the gymnasts are just as capable (as they follow their egotistical captain--Chris) is the main source of conflict.
  4. I wasn't as dark as your thoughts? Well, maybe I'll have to work on that, hehe! But not in this story. This one will be much milder compared to many of my others.

    Chapter 1

hehe, they can be rather wild from what I understand--not that I have any personal knowledge of such a thing Ryan is settling in to life with Shane and Colt fairly well, especially since he never had anyone there for him before.

    Chapter 1

Glad you enjoyed it. I struggle with the short antho stories a little so it's nice to know it came out okay.

    PART 1--Chapter 1

Fucking rain. Normal practice was, of course, ruined. Chris already had them running laps in the stuffy, humid gym. There was only so long they could run mind-numbing laps in one of the auxiliary gyms. The thunderstorm had relegated all the outdoor activities inside until at least 40 minutes with no lightning, which meant, for most of them, conditioning. "Move it, Foster," Chris snapped at him. Declan growled back. He was one of the bigger guys on the team, made for blockin

    Ripped

Declan was the epitome of strength, the top defensive back, top student in his classes, part of THE top-notch football team. But when he fails a basic challenge in front of his entire team--especially to a tiny thing like Bailey McIntyre--he's furious. So is his team captain. And Declan just can't seem let it go. And it gets worse... because he starts to think about Bailey as more than just the guy who destroyed his reputation.
  15. Thank you! I had a lot of readers wanting to know what happened with Brad (other than he was killed going to court). I'm so glad you enjoyed All In, and thanks for reviewing!
  16. Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. I do have the idea for a third tale rumbling around in my head
  17. I agree, this is my major pet-peeve when I start reading a story/book.
  18. I am so very sorry... I don't know what to say... please know my prayers are with you always.
  19. Thank you all so very much. I will continue to try to check in and see what's going on, but I fear it won't be my usual daily or more visits for a while.

    Sad News

    So very sorry...
  21. I just wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful notes and prayers for my mom. November was really hard as my mom first found the lump in her hip and we waiting for her to go have it biopsied, then of course another wait for the results... B-cell lymphoma... the dreaded "C" word. And just before thanksgiving, so more waiting and stressing about just how bad it was and what would happen. Fortunately, last week after her PET scan, we were given the good news that it is in Stage 1 and has NOT spread past the original sight. So the doctors are extremely optimistic that she may be cancer free after three rounds of chemo instead of going through six. I know I'm very lucky to receive such good news. As much as I hated hearing my mom has cancer, this is probably the best possible outcome I could hope for. So after stressing and getting myself sick at the end of Thanksgiving break, we are finally feeling more secure that things will be okay. She did have her first chemo treatments this week, and they went well. She didn't get sick--yet anyway--but she's been tired of course. So anyway, that's my update on why I haven't been very active. I still have all the Fall Anthologies to read too!!! I had even tried to do the National Novel Writing Month--the 50k+ words in 30 days. Yeah, it didn't happen; I fizzled out right before Thanksgiving when we got her diagnosis and I got sick. So only 42K got done--12 chapters of the next story. Now I just need to get back into it after so long a break... And see if my betas/editors will be up to reading it Well, Parker's already taken a look at the first chapter(s) and had me rewriting stuff! So thank you all again. I'm so grateful to have such wonderful people here at GA for support!
  22. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    Chapter 1

Very true, Ryan did over-react with taking a swing at Brady, and it says a little something about Ryan's emotional state that he did, since he's not a violent person. Thanks so much for reading!
