My mother-in-law is the same way. She's always put down my husband for not going to college, while her other son did. Of course, my husband now makes six figures and is high demand, because of his tech skills and is actually better off than his brother is. For her, it seems like it is all about the degree on the wall. I just want to roll my eyes at her every time she mentions it--and it seems like she does every time we see her, which fortunately, isn't that often. It shouldn't matter if you have a degree on the wall to be a good person.

Thank you! Yes, the sheriff has suspicions, but it's the Deputy whose been there from the beginning who Brad has in his pocket and keeps things under wraps for Brad--and still is (unbeknownst to the sheriff who hasn't been there as long). Hope you continue to enjoy! Thanks for reviewing!

Chapter 14 Jason was sitting on the sectional in the lounge area where he could still see into Devyn's room, in case the kid did wake up. He hadn't turned on the TV so that he could hear anything should the boy move at all. Of course, so far, the kid hadn't so much as rolled over. Ahh, isolovesj! Nice to see you here! I did actually start at AFF with the Neko story, but since then, I've found I actually like this site better, so I like to post here first. There are so many great stories here! I'm sure you'll find others you like! You can click on people's profiles and see what stories and authors they like and maybe you'll find some you like too--that's what I like to do.
