Mmmmm sounds good. I was going to cook roast beef for lunch but I left it too late so now it’s on the plan for tonight. And I was thinking about leftovers being used in thin slices for Pho Pumpkin soup with a hint of ginger for lunch - definitely worth getting out of bed

Definitely smart birds Some of them are great mimics, ambulances, police sirens and more. My grandfather used to feed magpies around his place. They would come to the door and tap on it to say it was feeding time

Not a killer. Noisy in a crowd. And they are quite playful too. I remember a bunch of them at the beach jumping off a wire fence during strong winds. They took turns gliding, one would jump up and the wind would support them, make a racket then the next would have a go. They were having fun

I forgot to say I also picked up some plum jam, nectarine jam as well as a selection of fruit from a roadside stall

For my short time in the bush, I saw a lot of donkey orchids, yellow buttercups, purple hovia, parrot bush, and a few other flowers in bloom. Not bad for winter.

Just tried to go for a walk but the rain was coming in at a rate of knots I was at the lights on the way home, I saw a pair of pink and grey galahs sitting on the pedestrian crossing. The lights changed and they walked onto the road and are some spilled grain and were looking at the lights to see if they changed. Smart birds
