Hmmmm Dad was in hospital with evaluated BP. They played with his meds at the transition place and now it’s back up to dangerous levels. Well now it’s back to manageable levels because they bumped up his meds but it’s been a bit scary.
I think this is spot on, Will might be casual about sex but doesn’t treat people as disposable items
I bet he and Colin get on like a house on fire
Just a bit nervous about JJ's visit, I don’t know which would be worse, John noticing and mentioning the horrendous 5 pounds or him not noticing at all
And that’s just so unfair
Part of the problem is my heater broke and I bought a cheap replacement and it doesn’t work as well as my old one. I might need to bite the bullet and get a proper replacement
I’d say it was a cool Saturday but not in a good way
There was a bit of wind today that really seemed to cut through. It’s a bit weird because we had the storms and it didn’t seem as chilly. Maybe it's all a bit psychological. Not really expecting to be so cold made it seem super-icy
There was a study done in the UK which showed a significant decrease in the mental health of workers at home. This was an early study, prelim results only and already it was obvious that it was not good for anyone. And because no one wants to or can go to the doctor, appointments are down.
It is a bit of a worry here - the physical ailments have mirrored the UK experience but we haven’t looked at mental health issues. I had a bit of a deep and meaningful convo with my boss's boss and he agrees it’s a serious and under reported issue
Poor JJ. I am surprised he didn’t have a total meltdown. OMG he is growing up. Self absorbed 17yo - yes. Stupidly threw meds down the sink - yes. But he stuck to his guns and got the problem fixed (cross fingers). And I loved that his big act of defiance in the waiting room was doing his homework
