  1. Chapter 14 It was instantly clear that this was not a chance meeting as Bryce stood in front of us with about eight other guys, a couple of whom I recognised from the karate class as they still wore their uniforms. “Hey Steven, long time no see, some friends of mine mentioned that you and your boyfriend had started karate. You must be into some kinky shit.” Bryce then turned on me. “Does he beat you when he fucks you? Do you like it rough faggot?” Some of the guys started laughing as he taunt

    Chapter 13

Thank you for your review. It's interesting that you've picked up on this as I didn't think it was an issue. I don't claim to have nearly as much experience or credentials as your partner, but I have trained in karate. I got the idea of this initiation from my one experience with judo. I attended, as a child, karate, but wanted to try something new and opted for judo. On my first and only lesson I was asked to spar with each student, one after another until I was pinned, which subsequently never happened as I managed to sweep and overpower everyone from my karate experience. looking back, it probably is a bit reckless of an instructor to put a new kid through his paces like this and I imagine for the less experienced it could be quite off putting and detrimental, resulting in perhaps quitting the class. Anyway, I just wanted you to know, that this was something that actually happened to me as a kid and that is my reasoning behind writing it in. I hope you keep reading and that your enjoying the story so far. Please review again. Thanks.

    Chapter 8

Hey Columbus, sorry I missed this review. Yeah I agree, it was a bit of a test of character for Adam. He had an opportunity to eradicate the competition and he chose to save him instead. He's a good person, but what do they say about nice guys finishing last?

    Chapter 13

he he, I couldn't resist writing in a piece of eye candy for the guys lol. Who knows what will happen between the three. Maybe Sean will end up with Dan. There's been lots of drama so far... who knows. Bryce IS an asshole, but what goes around comes around... Karma and all that jazz. Keep reviewing and liking the chapters. Thanks!

    Chapter 12

Thank you for your kind comments. I'm happy to hear you're a fan and that you couldn't stop reading. I must be doing something right Please keep sending me reviews and liking the chapters, it's what keeps me going. Thanks again. I agree about trying to avoid romantic relations sometimes. Sometimes it is just for the best to stay friends as you risk losing too much.

    Chapter 12

Thanks, I'm trying to save their friendship as best I can, but a lot has happened between them. I hope people start to get on Steven's side soon. He's not a bad guy, he's just messed up. I used to know someone like Steven and nobody got him, not even his parents, but I couldn't help but love him. We had a lot of history together, but we never seemed to get the timings right. Sadly he is no longer with us as his demons got the better of him, but I guess a little part of him has transcended subliminally into this character. It's important to me that the readers try to get on his side a little.
  7. Chapter 13 I awoke the next day, warm and content. I had been roused from my slumber with little kisses on my neck… I practically jumped out of the bed when I realised it wasn’t Adam. “What the fuck are you doing Steven?” I asked him groggily. “I’m sorry; I shouldn’t have… erm… Dan?” He nodded his head down towards my boxers that I now noticed were tented by my raging hard on, which was desperately trying to escape the confines of my underwear. “Oh for fuck sake,” I said in embarrassment, co

    Reconstruction

Oh dear, I don't think Scotty is going to be happy. I'm a little worried as to where Scotty might be actually. There are too many enemies looming and the fact you guys couldn't contact him is unnerving.

    Chapter 11

Thanks Cannd, I agree it was more angry make-up sex lol. His mum definitely shouldn't have read it, but wouldn't you? I'd like to say I wouldn't, but I might have.

It's good to see you're enjoying all the conflict, I know I am. Thank you for your kind words. Keep your reviews coming.
  11. Chapter 12 I paced my room thinking about what I should do. I knew she must have read it, it was obvious. Who wouldn’t? She had obviously been worried about me disappearing up here without even saying hello, so, when she stumbled across the mysterious, hand written letter I had fallen asleep with, curiosity would have gotten the better of her. I re-read the letter and I thought it wouldn’t be so incriminating if it wasn’t for his name and address right at the very top of the damned thing. I wa
  12. Chapter 11 I had to take some alone time to calm down, so I went off again on one of my wanders while Steven went off to collect his car. I had Karl onside which was a start. I understood why Adam felt the way he did, but that didn’t help me any. What did he expect me to do? Cut Steven out of my life? Shit! Maybe that is what he wanted me to do. Could I do that? I don’t think I could; especially now when I felt we needed each other more than ever. I had to admit, though, if that is indeed what

    Broken

Like Rex said, I've only just found this story too. Wow, just wow. So sad, and, although my experiences were no were near this extreme, you write in a way I can really relate to, especially the popularity and school experiences. I myself was bullied and at times would let things build and build until finally I would explode and go on a rampage. That really rang true for me and sent me on my own little trip down memory lane yesterday. You really make the writer do a lot of soul searching. Judgment is something I still fear as a gay man and I often hide my true feelings in order to compete in the professional, socio-political climate. You've captured the essence of judgment and what it feels like to be judged perfectly I must pick up on the dialogue between characters too. Yours is very easy to read. Often on this site I like the story and the plot, but the dialogue is poor and unbelievable and inevitably makes me stop reading. Your characters talk to each other like real people. I'm an actor and reading your dialogue is like reading a script. You've mastered the art of description and romance and still you bring a beautifully naturalistic dialogue to your characters. Maybe it's easier with it being autobiographical, but the subject matter suggests otherwise so I'll have to assume your just a really good writer. Either way, I'm hooked on this story and I pray it has a happy ending in some way. Well done for being so brave and thank you for sharing this piece of your life with us. I'm following and will be rating 5 stars.

    Chapter 10

Hi Rex, thanks again. I'm quite pleased with my rate of writing recently and you'll be pleased to know that I'm currently writing chapter 12 and will be sending chapter 11 for editing shortly, so in answer to your question, soon... I hope. I feel that the story is approaching it's natural end and I'm interested to know what you think might happen? Please send me your thoughts.
  15. Chapter 10 I slept like a log that night snuggled up to my special guy. I felt safe in his arms and as the birdsong and sunlight drifted into our tent I was reluctant to leave them, but I needed a piss something fierce, so I had to delicately free myself. I got up, pulled the boxers on that Adam had given me the night before, unzipped the tent and let the fresh morning air welcome me. It was early and no one seemed to be about. I tip toed over to the nearest bush to relieve myself. The grass w
