There is an iconic photo of Eisenhower talking to members of the 82nd Airborne prior to D-Day. He had seen the casualty estimates that most of these mes wouldn't return. In fact 15 of the 16 battalion commanders were killed or wounded. It's hard to look men in the eye knowing you are sending them to almost certain death or ruin. It's this photo I had in mind when thinking of West giving Trembley his mission.

Flavescent hues to the eyes or skin are open signs of poor health. -
So much in this chapter. We got scary Will, wrecking West, and Enrico fetching Andrew. This isn't over yet and the emotional toll for our guys is already soul wrenching.

The little niggle here is why let Theo leave? He is part of the stakes. Rourke probably doesn't care. Maybe Cobb looks forward to a hunt.
