  1. Hmmm, turn around a little more... Something vital of you is missing.
  2. Wtf?
  3. Considering that India still uses a similar legal system as Australia and the USA (the common law one), the ruling is probably only effective in New Delhi. The government will probably appeal to the Supreme Court, it could either... let the ruling stand, or agree and apply the ruling nationwide, or overrule the lower court.
  4. The US should be very glad that it doesn't have to deal with the "Quebec problem". We've been causing major violent headaches since the Conquest of 1759.
  5. And no one bothered to wish us a Bonne St-Jean as well? I think it's more fun. Happy Canada Day. Erm... Quebec celebrated its anniversary last year. 1608-2008. I was there to celebrate for a little bit. In the USA -San Juan, PR (1521) -St. Augustine, FL (1565) -Santa Fe, NM (1607) -Jamestown, VI (1607) In Canada -St. John's, NL (1541) -Tadoussac, QC (1600) -Port Royal, NS (1605) -Quebec City, QC (1608) The USA is just as old as Canada. There's more than just English history... but also French and Spanish. We have four settlements founded before Quebec City and Canada... just three... So we beat you by one. However, considering that Jamestown was briefly abandoned during the 18th century, we're pretty much even.
  6. My dog got gay on another dog a few times. I had to break them up. They're brothers and it's weird.
  7. In Canada, winning lotteries aren't taxed either. $90 million. Fully fund my school. Get a new car. Buy an apartment or house. Go on trips around the world. Never f**king worry about money again. Throw some to my parents for their retirement. Pay them back for their financial support for school and living. Buy Grandma a green Calliac that she longs for. Yeah, the rest... I have no idea... $90m is a shitload of money. I'll probably throw half to charities. I wouldn't change my life because of it. It just gives me loads of financial security for life.
  8. Sorry... We're too busy BBQing for St-Jean and Canada Day week.
  9. Now the senators agreed to hold a full session for 20 days starting today. Not going to put a lot of hopes, but I'm betting my $100 that they'll run to fight for the control of the gravel.
  10. This is beyond retarded. The NY governor wants the gay marriage bill put to vote in the Senate and called a special session to get that done. But no... they refuse to listen as usual. http://gaysocialites.com/2009/06/breaking_...y_marriage.html In case if you haven't heard what's happening in the NY Senate, read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_New_York...adership_crisis Seriously... politicians are really BABIES.
  11. I can only speak of the gay villages in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and Philadelphia. The latter threes were by pure accident (I just walked into them) and didn't catch my interests (I was just merely walking around in the city itself). Gay villages aren't my cup of tea and I rarely go to the one in Montreal. But you shouldn't be afraid of asking where's the gay village in any major North American cities. Just ask the tourist info booth. They won't care. It's not like you're asking in Saudi Arabia.
  12. That's what you get for going against two Canadians. HA! And the Pens winning the Cup. Whatta climax killer. But I guess it's better than letting the Wings take it.
  13. I'm in Quebec. Gay enough. Statistique Qu
  14. You two beat me. Yes... http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/articl...xxEMIgD98JFHLO4
  15. You'll certainly enjoy this video then: *yummy ending*
  16. She just made it to the Canadian news last week. Jesus F. Christ. Nothing against her really because I despise Idol-like shows.
  17. I've been there twice... My only two Ohio visit was based only on those. Some were just too high and I basically freaked out so much and vowed to never go on the again.
  18. Tim: Bravo on your weight goal, but don't you think it's time to buy clothes a size or two smaller to highlight your accomplishment?
  19. That you got the Crosby virus? Don't infect us with that. It's pourri.
  20. +1 I feel the same, Mark. But there is something in me that I feel a little that they will strike it down.
  21. Goddamn it. NH house rejected the proposed language, but also rejected the attempt to kill the bill. Now time to work out a compromise with the Senate and have a vote on June 3rd. More waiting to do. >.<
  22. I had my computer privilege revoked in high school because I visited a GLBT site. But then I was about to graduate in a couple months, so I didn't make a fuss out of it. The way the principal revoked them was very rude... They didn't even tell me about it and it took me over a week to figure out why I couldn't get in. My teachers weren't very happy either that he didn't tell them as well. Then a little later after I was told, my teacher secretly told me that he told her the reason: a gay site. Obviously I was extremely embarrassed and I didn't say any more. I wasn't out then.
  23. I tried telling him over and over and over. He just won't listen. Stubborn more than usual for his age. And this is really sad. This will be the first decade in history that the Habs haven't won't the Cup. Before they always win at least one every decade since the 1910s. :S
