  4. An elderly man in Louisiana had owned a large farm for several years. He had a pond in the back that was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees. One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over. He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you leave!' The old man frowned, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim or make you get out of the pond." Holding the bucket up he said, "I'm just here to feed the alligator..."
  5. As a frequent Boston visitor, I recommend you find a good Italian restaurant on the North End. Ask a local for suggestions.
  6. One NHL club is finding an outlet for its idle resources...Smashmobs! The Nashville Predators surprised a youth hockey game by bringing the full NHL experience to the rink. The families and kids were stunned to see and hear the NHL announcer, Paul McCann, the national anthem, the Predators mascot, Gnash, head coach Barry Trotz in the bench area, cheerleaders, a band, sports reporters, and about 250 unexpected fans take over the game.

  13. Chapter 143 hasn't been posted yet. You will see it listed in the Table of Contents, but is noted as "not yet published". It is scheduled to be released on November 26. See: https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/35958-vacation-posting-schedule/#entry392342 Don't feel bad; it took me a while to figure that out.

    Hello, World

Hey! Welcome to GA, Andrew. I've read the first two chapters of your story and am really enjoying it. Exceptionally well written. Keep up the good work.
  16. You are right. That's a "feature" that I was not aware of; didn't know that I could see the chapters as posted when they were pending. I just checked without signing in and I can read all the chapters except the pending two. Maybe I need a vacation. Oh, you won't be disappointed when you do read the chapters. Cliffhangers? My definition of cliffhanger is so different from CJ's I've given up arguing about them.
  17. Post here short videos that you find to be amazing examples of the natural world and man's inventiveness. For example: http://player.vimeo.com/video/27920977?autoplay=1
  18. Hey guys...I can read both chapters now. I don't think that is what you are saying.
  19. Hmmm....again. I think those story notifications go only to members who have elected to "Follow this story". Neither of the two chapters is listed in the "Latest Story Updates" block on the home page. And the Table of Contents shows that neither chapter has been published. It's a mystery and Christmas Eve is nearly six weeks away. Poor goat! He really needs this vacation.
  20. Hmmm....I received two notifications and both chapters have been posted. Poor goat! He really needs this vacation. Buon Viaggio, C J!
  21. Hilarious...best argument yet for gay marriage.
