    I just saw that YouTube had this for free to watch. It is one of the most romantic of all teen gay movies and it is called ‘Dream Boy’. I thought I’d share it since I’m watching it at the moment. It’s sad, though, so get your hankies out. Oh, and you’ll need to sign in to YouTube to see since it is age restricted.

    Writing is a kind of exorcism. It exorcises the demons in our memories and exposes them to the light. What’s nice about this sort of thing is that then the record of these exorcisms can last and become rites of exorcism for others. I always think that reading and writing is the closest we can get to true telepathy as can naturally exist in our present reality. Being able to share the experience with someone else and have them understand it and, maybe, use that experience to better their lives is why I think that the practice of writing is holy and why so much that is holy in this world is contained in words written down.

    Congratulations on coming so close to finishing this particular work. I know this one is one of those Blood On The Page kind of stories as in ‘written in your own’ kind of thing. As such, it may be your most important work. I hope it gets to a wider audience. It is one of the best at telling the kind of suffering LGBT youth go through with abuse and the hope of finding that someone that can save them with love.

    Marie, basically, is a girl I met around Brandon's age. She was pretty much perfect! Smart, humorous, shameless . . . all the things any straight guy might look for in a girlfriend if they have half the sense God gave a gnat.

    Well, this has gotten bad enough to where I’ve taken out a subscription to Marvel Comics again and I’m reading some of my old favorites again and seeing what storylines they might kype this time. Hawkeye will be ✨Fabulous✨! Oh, and in good Brandon tradition, HBOMax has started showing the old Christopher Lee Hammer Dracula movies again, so I have to watch those too . . .

    Young Avengers are being assembled even as we speak. Already we've seen Speed, Wiccan, and Young Loki. I imagine we'll be seeing more of this as this phase of the MCU plays out.

    It probably can’t happen, but my favorite “What If . . .” was the Dark Phoenix one where she basically blew up the Universe. Spidey looks so cute!

After class I trailed after him to ask a ‘question’ about something on our quiz, but he brushed me off.     I've known my share of Skaterbois in my time. Benji is modeled after one, but the name is a 'by request' from another reader a couple of chapters back. He wanted to be written in as part of the story. Being a writer has some 'Godlike' qualities to it! Hehehe

    This basically tracks against Billy Chase Book 1. Naturally, since, at this point, Billy and Brandon are not a couple and are having experiences outside of their being together, this book only tracks loosely. Instead of telling the story day by exact day, it tries to build up the preconditions needed to make Brandon’s behaviors in Billy Chase make sense. In the next volumes, you’ll see where things will track along much more closely as Billy and Brandon interact more. You’ll see that in this preliminary online draft of this story that I switch from exact dates to just days of the week. That inconsistency comes from Comicality since his GA version of Billy Chase does the same thing.

    In the Billy Chase canon, Benji doesn't come up, so I think he might be a passing flirtation. But, he's a stepping stone in the right direction as Brandon slowly, but surely stalks his prey and gets ready to pounce on Billy Chase. Entry 60 is the last chapter of Brandon Smiling, Book 1, but I'm working on Book 2 even as we speak. Excelsior, True Believer!
