    This time Viviane/Merlin’s scrying glass was a clear pool of ice cold water a short distance away from the Elven Hall. The water in the calm pool swirled unnaturally as Viviane passed her hand over it mumbling unintelligible things. The water ‘shaped’ itself with a strange gesture of Viviane’s hand. Water rivulets arched above the surface seeming to defy gravity and began making glittering water shapes that were resolving into something recognisable. The rivulets formed a hollow trape

    You make addicts with your content and the very frequency of your posting of it creates a ‘jonesing expectation’. Junkies always want more and get nuts if they can’t get more. It is a backhanded compliment, really.

    One of my greatest influences in writing and my one great muse, Anne Rice, has passed away! Anyone who writes in the horror genre, particularly vampires, owes her a greater debt even than Bram Stoker! She world built Vampire Lore to such an extent that we will forever look on that myth with far more sympathetic eyes! She was a bastion of courage and a great ally to the LGBTQ community! This is like the passing of Faulkner or Hemingway or Mozart! A great artist and redefiner of reality is gone. I’m very sad today, but grateful to this fine woman of such imagination and insight!

    Chandler has been around the block a couple of times, but, indeed…there is a question in his methods. Do they work on ‘prospects’ because they work by themselves or do they only work because Chandler is so damned good looking? Being ‘pretty’ makes a lot of things seem easy. We shall see…
