    Chapter 11

You're only saying 'Hurray' because you hope he's available soon... Kidding, of course! There's more to this story, for sure, and I have a sequel I'm already working on which will begin posting next week. Don't look at it as the story ends here, just look at it as if we're switching characters and have to take a moment to transition. As for Zane . . . Thank you for reading and reviewing!

    Chapter 11

Don't worry, you'll get more time with him, just not from this angle. The sequel begins next week, and though it follows a different character as our protagonist, Clint will be heavily involved (I believe there's a total of 1-2 planned chapters where he won't feature, but otherwise he'll be an important character in each chapter). With all those potential stories in here, I didn't want to spend all that story time locked inside Clint's head, so I'm branching out a bit. The other reason why I decided to end this here is because I didn't want this to just be a simple gay high school tale where our protagonist finds himself a boyfriend from the first chapter and it's all about the relationship. I wanted this to be about Clint's journey through friendship. I hope I succeeded. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

    Chapter 11

Yeah, the fairytale like aspect was something I was going for as well. I'm happy it had that impression on you. The sequel is in the process of being written, but since I don't have any other projects at present, I'm going to be releasing it before it's finished. I've done that a few times before, and though it can be a bit stressful, I've always been on time with my chapters. I love the protagonist of "Weightless" as much as I love Clint, but I don't know if others will feel that same way. He's comepletely different, with a completely different voice. We'll just see how it goes, eh? Thank you for reading, and thank you for the review!

    Chapter 11

Unlike some features of this story (like Sheila's entire existence) Brent and Donny's relationship was planned from the very beginning. The very first attempt I ever made at writing this story, nearly a year ago, I told it from Donny' perspective, and I was going to make it incredibly obvious that Brent was more 'on the fence' about his feelings. Glad Clint came around, though, because I enjoyed writing his spirit more than I enjoyed writing Donovan's. My goal with Brent's vocabulary was to show him as a bisexual guy with a redneck lexicon. His open-minded parents taught him not to hate people for being different, but they also used a lot of words they'd grown up with, simply out of habit. Unfortunately, Brent picked up on this. He just wears them with pride instead of anger, although his sister doesn't . . . Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 10

I really like Greg and co. Hope you'll enjoy seeing more of them, too. There's a lot of them in the sequel! Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 10

Well, now you're definitely about to find out, if you hold to your reading pattern. All of your questions should have answers here in our next chapter, and I think you'll like the ending. Fingers are crossed, anyway. Glad you're still enjoying it. Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 10

I loved how you put that 'what the sheila's of the world don't know . . .' sentence! You're absolutely right, and that's the sort of character I was trying to build Clint into throughout the entire story. He has an unconquerable heart, and he won't be beaten by some bitch who thinks she can control him with hate. But now you know the ending. Are you pleased? Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 11

Three bullies in front of me. Sheila stands front and center with Joey on the right and Vance on the left; both are brutes. I can get seriously injured here, but it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters when they’re just going to keep coming. This ends now, one way or another, whether I go home in a body cast, or these bastards find a new home behind bars. Donny and Travis are behind me, but I don’t know if they have my back. I don’t have time to worry about it, either. If they’re not going t
  9. Awww,,, thanks, buddy. To answer your earlier request: The toned pectorals and abs of the entire Olympic Men's Diving team was enough to make any androsexual drool, a fact clearly evidenced by the women sitting around me and my boyfriend who couldn't tear his eyes away from the young men in their speedos.

    Chapter 1

This was written for a Valentine's Day short story compilation over at AwesomeDude. I wanted to write something from a mother's perspective, and this was the result. The two boys grow up and take part in my story, Ashes of Fate, as well, though I only recommend that story if you like dark fantasy. Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 1

I was never completely sure where I was going with this story, either. It was written as part of a historical fiction contest for stories taking place in the 1700's. I had an idea and played with it, and this was the result. Calico Jack was a real pirate who was caught and executed, and his son really did disappear, so I figured it'd be fun to play with him. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

    Chapter 10

Heh. Greg. I like Greg. I look forward to your reaction on chapter 11 and then the sequel. That tension was really fun to write, too! And Travis and Clint's relationship is awesome, isn't it? I'm glad you're still enjoying it!

    Chapter 10

I have a few locker room memories like that, too. The first time I ever admitted to myself that I was probably gay (which is funny, 'cause I'm really not, at least, not completely) was in the locker room in 7th grade. I remember trying to not look at any of the guys around me, which meant I was constantly turning around, because there were always guys around me! Bryan in particular, a friend of mine, had the most beautifully tanned skin, and no hint of a tanline even when he removed his boxers . . . anyway . . . Clint truly believes that by standing up to the bullies, the bullies will be too scared to act. At the moment, it's at least making them cautious. Plus, Sheila is still remembering what Angie did to her, and that' adding to her caution. After all, she has no idea if Clint knows how to defend himself properly. Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 10

Are you already on your second read-through? Sweet!
  15. Cynus

    Chapter 3

Yay! Hope you continue to like it all the way through! It's not a typical gay high school story.

    Chapter 10

Just a bit. It's the last chapter, too. Then I follow a completely different character in the sequel. One who is connected to this story, though. This particular arc of the story may end next week, but a new one begins. Hope you stay tuned!

    Chapter 2

He's cute though, isn't he? Glad you're enjoying yourself, tim!

    Chapter 9

No promises either way on the Brent/Donny question. You'll just have to wait and see! Clint overthinks yet underthinks everything he does. It's should come as no surprise that this, too, was a failure. This was one of the two strategies I came up with for outlandish coming out scenarios, and I absolutely had to use it. Hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for the review!
  19. Cynus

    Chapter 9

I don't know if him trying "hard" would get him anywhere. That'd probably be a disaster, too. As for Brent and Sheila, you'll just have to wait and see what the end result is! Travis decided he didn't really want to experiment after all. Or maybe he was scared, huh? I think they're really good for each other, as friends, and maybe something more than that someday. Who's to say? Oh yeah, that'd be me . . . Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 9

Why is Brent angry? I'd sure like to know. Clint has long been a champion of sensitive noses. He'll defend them until the day he dies, or loses his sense of smell. I agree with you about what happened with Travis, and that it would've been a mistake, especially since this story is not supposed to be about romance at all. Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 9

Yay for favorite chapters! It's one of mine, too. And, if tim ever reads this, he'll probably give me shit for it. (love ya, tim! ) The scene between Travis and Clint is one of my favorite to write in the entire story. I honestly planned on Travis to be comepletely straight the whole story, but then on a whim I wrote this section and loved it. This story was never supposed to be about a high school romance. I've already written too many of those. I like to think that the faculty isn't doing too well with the bullying thing, here. But hopefully they'll learn after not too long. Hehe . . . the shower scene was planned from the beginning of the story, before I even put the first words down. Glad you liked it! Thank you for the review!

    Chapter 9

I wasn't really planning for that twist with Travis, to be completely honest. It sort of sneaked up on me and then pounced out of nowhere. I'm glad I did it, though, because it's one of my favorite scenes. Hoping it was at least liked from others. Clint fighting is probably a hilarious scene, actually. He has no formal training, and so he'd be just as chaotic as ever. He'd probably break more of his own bones than anyone elses. Thank you for the compliments and the review!

    Chapter 9

Gotta love the image of sheila in the dirt, eh? I definitely do. Everyone needs an Angie in their life.
  24. The way I see "Androsexual" working is that it would be a blanket term for both gay males and heterosexual women, as well as any others who happen to "like males".
  25. I've found this to be a rather interesting reference. Available at Asexuality.org http://www.asexuality.org/en/topic/123256-asexuality-sexual-orientation-lexicon-read-me/?hl=placiosexual#entry1061345333
