We all moved to the table, Cody opened the aluminum package of vegetables and place the ribs on the platter we used previously. We paused and then started to pass the food around. As expected the plates weren’t large enough to hold all the food. I quickly went into the kitchen and got some salad plates. I'm sure Jeff knows. He and Andy are pretty close. If the mother is okay with Andy being gay, chances are the dad is okay as well.

You're welcome. Maybe in time, gay couples will be able to adopt children without all of the hassle and discrimination. But you aren't to old to be a grandfather. There are children out there that do not have the benefit of grandparents. No one to spoil them.

🤣 Yes, just wash your hands, you wouldn't want any dirt on your hands to mess up your ribs. Most people eat pork ribs, but if you haven't tried beef ribs, they can be just as good.

Yes, but so good. Especially if the meat just falls off the bone. The one time you can eat with your fingers and no one gets upset.

Yes, I was glad that the relationship between Cody and Alan was discussed and Andy's parents knowing that Andy is gay. There was a hint in this chapter about something Alan is going to do.

You are right, someone bringing you coffee in the morning, is a treat. I send Andy over but I'm afraid on that motorbike would take too long. Andy is a nice kid, he took Cody to his favorite fishing spot. Cody is getting very close to Andy, I wonder where that will lead.

I think in most cases that probably would be true. Their parents seem to be open mined, accept Andy being gay, bought Jeff his truck. They have met Cody and Alan, I suspect they will be okay with the motorbike

I knew they weren't going to get any nuts. They had fun and that was nice. I think he will go to Clarion College.

I spent the next 3 hours finishing the reports, making notes in the margin and checking the financial numbers. Wednesday I had to fly to New York for the meeting on Thursday and Friday. I would be home on Saturday. Putting the reports in my brief case, I decided to go to bed.
