    Chapter 27

Summer would soon be here and the question I had to answer, what are we going to do for a vacation this year. “Cody, summer will be here soon, what should we do for a vacation?” “The boys liked the cruise and they liked the trip to Europe. There really isn’t much we could offer to match those.” “How about we tour the US and maybe throw in some amusement parks.” “That might be a good idea. How about we tell the boys and let them plan the vacation. I’d be interested in seeing what they

    Chapter 2

Hey, I've been served black pudding when I was in England. You can have it. I was swerved it in Spain, in Puerto Rico and I'll say it again, eating the blood of animals is gross. If you like it, it's all yours.

    Chapter 26

I spoke to Alan about you comment, he said it was easier for Cody because of the age factor. The boys are old enough to have a voice, so if something happened to break up Alan and Cody, I'm sure the boys would be in the middle of it. In a few years, James will be old enough to make his own decisions, where James go, so go Nels

They cruised the islands they missed on the first cruise. The Dutch islands, the islands of off of Puerto Rico, as well as Puerto Rico.

    Chapter 26

Alan is quite a bit older and older people tend to be more compassionate toward their significant other. Alan knows what Cody wants and he's ready to give it to him, age plays an important part in Alan's thinking process. To have children with a hyphenated last name always results in questions. The boys have Alan as their middle name. Alan is happy and so is Cody, the boys are extremely happy.

There is some something coming up for Cody, but I'm not going to tell you. 🙂

Yes, he will. What a relief the boys must have felt. Even though they lived there, I'm sure they had concerns about their future. Now that has been resolved.

    Chapter 26

Yes, Cody is now happy, really happy. Alan is happy that Cody is happy. I'm afraid there is too much happiness. We"ll see how it goes

    Chapter 26

Time seemed to go fast, I still went to New York each month, I did my Christmas shopping while I was there. Thanksgiving was just around the corner, and we were invited to Mary and Brian’s for dinner. I baked several blackberry pies to take with us. Dinner was excellent and the company was stimulating. I met a lot of Mary and Brian’s friends, as well as some of their relatives. Jeff was home and we had a long chat about school. For me it was a great evening. With Christmas right around the c

Yes, I tried to show some highlights of the tour, but each country, each tourist spot would turn this story into several volumes. Well, not volumes,. but would add at least 100 pages to the story. Maybe something for me to do in my old age.

In the country not many homes to go trick or treating, except the businesses in Clarion. The party was a success. Next year every one from school will want to come

    Chapter 25

A Ploughman's lunch is simply cheese, bread and pickled eggs. The cheese is a farm cheese and served as one piece, a healthy piece I might say, bread is served uncut, again home baked, and pickled eggs you know. It was called a Ploughmans as you may surmise, the lunch was delivered to the men working in the fields. I ate it once, for lunch, it's typical British.

    Chapter 25

I think both of the boys are making friends from school. Andy introduced them and I think he also introduced them to kids their age. I think it's cute that Nels has a friend. For me that is natural and would indicate that the boys are adjusting. I'm, not sure who would be disappointed more, the boys or Cody, if they couldn't be adopted.

    Chapter 24

It always happens, and not only in England. It seems people who own a business seem to have an attitude of knowing best and suggestions are something to think about over cocktails. Those who listen and investigate the proposals, come out ahead. Pub food, anytime. Pasties, steak pie, Ploughman's lunch, YES

    Chapter 25

“The boys want to go back to the pub where we ate last night. They said they wanted to try the steak and kidney pie.” “Unless you like kidneys, my advice is to stay away from that. I would suggest Sheppard’s pie or steak and ale pie. Both English traditional pub food. Maybe for lunch we can find a fish and chips place. I’ll ask at the desk.” “Is you business finished?” “I think so, the British are a little strong headed at times. They are buying back their stock in such large quantit
