The market behind the Red and White store is a mixture of food, antiques, odds and ends. The best part is the lunch served at the Fire Station. Also next to the fire station is a curiosity shop with a lot of antiques. Have I given enough information to pique your interest to visit. A least Cook's Forest, a State Park.

They are gentle animals. I have seen many deer in the forests of Cook Forest.

This is a college town, so the possibility of having a Head Shop, would be normal. At least there was one in Clarion. I went in and looked around. A lot of paraphernalia, but it didn't appeal to me. Maybe a hooker, but I don't smoke.

The next morning, I woke with a smile feeling very content. I checked the time, it was 7:30 and I remembered that Mr. Haas was due at 9. Nick is a nice guy, he's a few years younger than Jimmy and Ritchie. There's no duplicity here.

No, there aren't any wine shops. There are bars where you could get a glass of wine but beer and whiskey were the main drinks in this area. Remember it was fishing and hunting. Butler is about an hour drive away and Erie is also about an hour. So there are places. Pennsylvania has strict alcohol tax laws and you can't import wines without paying a tax.

Did you find a Montgomery Wards store? They were competitors with Sears but they were mostly mail order. I can just imagine what you thought a Head Shop was. 🙂

Jeff left to go home while Cody and I decided to walk the ground around the house. I noticed that there were quite a few black walnut trees as well as butternut trees. Cody saw some blackberry bushes, which we had for an early dessert. "We should come back tomorrow and pick some for pies. They’d be great on ice cream as well." With our tongues covered in black berry juice, I decided to give Cody a kiss. Needless to say that the black berry juice really sweetened the kiss. Laughing, we went back

That is where I heard that term. I lived in the south for 16 years. I knew the term was used somewhere. Thanks for clarifying that and making me feel; better about using that term.

I think you'll be surprised. I'm not sure how this would work out in a "normal" family, but considering these three children, it will be different. I'm sure Alex will take a lead role.
