And you don't need to have an excuse (being career-focussed) to not want kids. And there doesn't have to be the qualifier "yet". Well, it's not like it was kinda prophesized in the comments of earlier chapters that Carlo's methods and decisions are sometimes a little questionable, so it's only logical that something happened. As I said in your other story: Very American that the only thing, one can think of, is a car 😜

I'm especially impressed by Barry this time, because he essentially does something, that is not easy for him, without getting much in return, whereas Calvin gets something. Jeez, when you think, Stephanie has done her worst, she outdoes herself once more. Traumatizing Barry the way she did is absolutely despicable. 100,000 seconds are 27 and 7⁄9 hours, so it is in fact a little longer but not that far off. Was this a nod to @Paladin's comment on chapter 6?
