  1. Thats kind of a tough question, seeing as I'm really bad for starting to read a book, putting it down, and starting another one. Repeat. Again. Right now I'm... In the middle of Eragon. We all seem know who wrote that so I don't have to go looking up how to spell the guy who wrote its name. About a chapter into Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, which is really hard to read because in some parts of it everything is spelled like it's said. The book is based in Scotland. I'm not from Scotland. Just starting The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams, which is the second book in the Hitch-Hikers "trilogy". A few chapters into Going Postal by Terry Pratchett. A few chapters into Homicide by David Simon. And finally, just starting The Coming Storm by Paul Russell.

  3. "It started off as rioting. But right from the beginning you knew this was different, because it was happening in small villages, market towns... and then it wasn't on TV anymore. It was on the street outside. It was coming through your windows. It was a virus, an infection. You didn't need a doctor to tell you that. It was the blood, or something in the blood. By the time they tried to evacuate the cities, it was already too late. The infection was everywhere. The army blockades were overrun, and that's when the exodus started. The day before the TV stopped broadcasting, there were reports of infection in Paris and New York. You didn't hear anything more after that." That sounds very familiar, but I can't place it. What's it from?
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. I bought that about two months ago and I loved it. I so want to see that! History Boys is on the list I have of movies I want to see, it looks good. I recently rented Sommersturm, Latter Days, and Mysterious Skin, they were all fantastic. I also saw Waitress which I liked.
  6. I don't smoke and never will, but smoking has never bothered me. I don't mind standing near someone smoking or being in their house or car when they are. I don't even really dislike the smell of cigarette smoke. Also, I work in the smoke shop at work sometimes and ever since the government decided you aren't aloud to see what you're buying everything is in drawers. I think this is really stupid because for the most part it done so kids can't see the tobacco products and out of the blue think 'Well I think I would like to smoke that and develop a lifelong addiction that may or may not kill me eventually'. Well guess what, now anyone under 19 is not even aloud in the place so I don't see how thats a valid point at all. Even if you're under 19 and smoke, not being able to see the product is not going to deter you because you know exactly what is in the drawers and will somehow get your hands on it weather you can see it or not. Plus, the top drawer is so high up I can barley see into it, which really annoys me. I love it when people come in and ask for primetimes, I really like the smell of those things.
  7. I would love to go, and If I start saving now I could save up enough and still have some money left to live off of after I get everything payed for. But I can only imagine how this conversation will go with my mum. Her - Why do you want to go to San Francisco? Me - To meet some people from a website I go to. Her - ...No, you're not going out of the country, ALONE, to meet a bunch of people you only know from a website. What kind of site is it anyway? Me - ...Never mind. Well, we'll see how this goes. Maybe if I present this to her in the right way I might get the Ok.
  8. Thanks guys.
  9. I just watched a trailer for The Borne Ultimatum, that made me smile. I am so excited, I loved the first two and this one looks good to.
  10. I second Clive Owen.
  11. Glad to hear your back home and alright.
  12. Mine is my budgie, Buffy. He was hanging upside down on my finger one day and I decided to take a picture, then he flew back to his cage and I got a neat shot. No deep meaning behind it, I just thought it looked cool.
  13. Well almost a year after my first post in this thread and I only have one more piercing, got it a little under three months ago. I'm up to 14, all on my ears. I'm kind of worried about it though, it's been a bit infected ever since I got it and I'm not sure if its because its still healing, or because even if they are healed cartilage piercings hurt a bit most of the time, or if there really is something wrong with it and I should go to the doctor. Guess I'll just wait and see.
  14. Seems like you need one right now. Kaitlyn
  15. Happy Birthday Luc!
