  1. Question - why was Tommy watching him anyways? Sigh, poor Robbie. I remember when I discovered my gaydar wasn’t half as good as I thought it was too.

    A Night In

"Bigger role in my past" - meh. Even if he's his father, sounds like the guy's main role was conception As for Ky, sure he went too far but I can't blame him. It can suck to suddenly have your best friend be taken up with a new significant other, let alone someone you were interested in. But I think anyone would be a little ticked that their friend shares more with a guy they have known only for a month and dated for even less, than with someone who's been with them for years. Young love is great and all but there's something to be said for seniority (sometimes) - Artie could easily have figured out a pretext to ask Dizzy about bringing Ky into the loop instead of stonewalling him.
  3. Okay, I get that Sean feels horrible and after the tornado this was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back but that was just not the right time or place. He hurt Ollie, he outed Diego, and wrecked his relationship, all in the wake of a disaster and in front of their friends too. Maybe it was best to come clean to Ollie but not until he’d given it some thought and things had settled down.
  4. I don’t think you have to worry about any non-wrestling centric chapters - this was intense, both character and action-wise. I’m quite intrigued with the look into the world of professional wrestling - it’s why I first clicked on the story - but it’s the characters that kept me here. Dude, you got them braced on a farm for a tornado - that’s about as exciting as you can get.

    A Guest of Honor

Hmm where does that lead.... Dungeons? Dungeons.
  6. Right?! If you expect no quarter, you don't give any either. And the look on their faces is priceless

    Chapter 10

Very interesting to see Juliana finally. She said been kind of built up and lives up to it. However, I can’t help but feel we missed something kind of important with Drew’s visit to Haven House. What did he Helen talk about for three hours? What was his greater understanding that seemed to unsettle him slightly? Why did Helen agree to see him? I feel that could have been a chapter in itself.

    Chapter 13

Well, Ronyx, as someone who's always touting the benefits of revenge, I'm mildly worried. Good job Scott has a lot of this coming but I suspect I'll be feeling a little bad for him by the time this is over. And I'm the one usually saying your characters should be more vengeful. Dammit, Ronyx, why you do this to me? I'm confused now!
  9. “Strength of their love”? Please. Teenagers that young don’t fall in love. Intense and personal bond - perhaps but love is not something you can claim at that age with your hormones on overdrive. That aside, I was worried this was going to be a one of those chapters where nothing much happens and half of it is Nathan and Robbie flirting. You certainly proved me wrong, Dodger ❤️ Anyone else apprehensive about Nathan’s parting words? He doesn’t seem in the habit of making idle threats - and he certainly knows all of Robbie’s weak points.

    Chapter 8

Wait, Aria wants to switch? I'm a little confused. *Edit* Oh right, Amara is doing Aria's share of sleeping around. Sorry, zoned out there as I typed and GA doesn't let you delete comments.

    Chapter 8

As enlightening (and horrifying) as this was, stopping it just as they're about to answer the question they started with was like a kick in the teeth. Of course, this is the foundation of essentially all their problems so it makes sense, but still... Well played. And it's a shame that the father can't seem to openly challenge his wife - I'm sure he loves his kids but sometimes it's just not that simple. Doesn't mean he shouldn't try of course. Scandal be damned, expose her as the psychotic monster she is. Secret recording of a rant, anything? To protect people you care about, sometimes you have to be a little diabolical. Lastly, Aria seems to have some kind of Stockholm Syndrome going here (apologies if someone else has already mentioned this - I didn't read all the comments). Still was irritating to hear him keep trying to defend her and nice to see Amara shut that down. I can see how when you love someone, you want to explain why they are the way they are and "it's not their fault" but when you're so betrayed by people supposed to care for you, well, I'm more like Amara here. There's just a point where you have to take a stand against your tormenter. Even if they're hurting or have issues, you have to put yourself first and cut them off. PS Seeing Drew called out Amara over the dangers of switching was a relief.

    Storms

While Artie’s selflessness is endearing, it’s not quite healthy. He needs to start putting himself first in certain situations - like telling Adam about the custody issue earlier. Some problems just can’t be put off cause “it’s not a good time” and then suddenly it’s too late. In this case, Adam seems confident but what if it was more complicated (which it likely will be)? Artie could have really screwed himself here to be honest - and I speak from experience.

    Chapter 7

Well, might be stating the obvious here but Ben clearly has something on Amara. This also shows that for all Amara's bravado, he's not as smart as he thinks he is. He'd clearly forgotten about some of the issues that would come with Aria being mistaken for him.
  14. Not gonna lie, I’d be annoyed with Robbie in Nathan’s place too. Making plans than canceling cause he couldn’t control his mouth. Been there - on both sides >_> Regardless - it’s clear Nathan got to know Alex on a somewhat more personal level than a locker note. He knew about Alex’s issues with his dad, judging from his comments when Alex first showed up at Robbie’s house...

Hmmm - I really like Jimmy. Maybe he and Diego might find something if he comes to visit. Would certainly be a healthier prospect than Sean, as sweet as he is.
  16. I agree with pretty much everything said here so far - which itself is noteworthy haha. Nathan has always been the dominant personality in this relationship but it will be interesting to see how he reacts as Robbie starts to understand more about himself and speak up more. If his reactions so far are any indicator, it doesn’t look promising. Getting so annoyed (or pretending to be) at Robbie for wanting to hang out with Tom the night before he left was surprising considering how sensitive Nathan has shown himself to be in the past. When Tom first arrived, Robbie notices Nathan didn’t push to be the center of attention like he usually did, understanding how important this was for his boyfriend. Now that Nathan’s star seems to be rising, that might be changing.

    Chapter 2

I get that Amy's young and prejudiced, it's kind of the calling cards of 13-year olds, but taking his money and selling him out right away? I'm a jerk (no question) but even I thought that was uncalled for haha.

    Chapter 1

*Emperor Palpatine voice* Yes, Mark, embrace your anger...take your revenge! *cackles*
  19. Anyone else think Nathan’s trying to test Robbie somehow by going a bit...extra? Or maybe he does this on the first day of every school year but the “if I’m embarrassing you, just tell me” got me wondering. As if Robbie’s going to say “yes.” I get that Nathan is the type to not change for anyone but he didn’t seem like this when he first appeared. Now it’s almost like he’s trying to prove a point to Robbie as well as everyone else - “prove you want to be with me even when it might not be comfortable for you” or something along those lines?

Dear lord, what is wrong with Jilly? I’ve been wondering that for a couple chapters now cause there’s clearly an issue.
  21. While Sue would never say this, her comment about “antagonizing someone” implies she thinks Robbie may have brought the attack on himself by offending some kid’s precious sensibilities. If something happens again you can bet one of her first questions will be if he was too close to Nathan or otherwise “flaunting it.” Her whole attitude seems to be that while she doesn’t want him hurt, homophobia is not only to be expected but also acceptable to a degree.

    Holding Back

Since he was trying to hide it, Adam might have known on some level what Bradley’s reaction would be. Honestly, I can’t really blame him - they’d just had a fun night so I can see his not wanting to have that conversation now, especially since he knew how it was probably going to end.

    The Tavern

So, will we ever get a clearer idea of why Sarah stopped talking to Adam? Was it just because she was coming to grips with his being gay? Until this point, I thought it might have been because he left - as in left town, Texas, and just moved to California. That she felt abandoned. I feel like something’s missing....

    The Tavern

    Yeah...I’m clearly missing something here.

    Heartbreaker

Hah! Can’t believe I missed that. Slightly ominous - and I love it.
