Thanks so much for reading Puppilull! I just wanted to see how I could connect space phenomena to a very worldly situation. Did I succeed? I'd love to know.

Sorry for the late response, LitLover. Just saw this. Thanks so much for reading and I'll leave those questions for your wild imagination to pursue!

  8. I love the meme!
  9. Astronomically Would you, please, go to sleep? That was Canan’s favorite phrase whenever we went on our excursions to Blueberry Hill. You see, our parents were business people and they all worked at the same company. The four have been partners before either Canan or I was born, so our fates were intertwined prenatally. Both our mothers took maternal leave at the same exact time for the same exact period of time and both our mothers decided we were old enough to fend for ourselves at the sam
  10. Me too. I came hear to learn from you guys and ended up teaching myself so much!
  11. Here are some additional suggestions I found on the net: Review the story you read -- not the story you wish the author had written. If this is the best story you have ever read, say so -- and why. If it's merely another nice story, say so. Words of encouragement are golden, especially to a new writer so try at best to include some positivity in a case where the story isn't "your cup of tea". Here's a good site I found, also: http://www.movellas.com/blog/show/201504261836013336/sanguines-tips-on-giving-reviews That's all I have for now.
  12. You had North Sea Texas!
  13. Well, this thread should help with your reviewing skills Cynus. Let's see who else has something ro add then we go from there.
  14. Yeah, I guess monotonous would be more suitable there.
  15. So it has come to my attention that we authors of GA feel quite rewarded whenever a fellow reader of our work leaves a review. Even reviews, however, might need guidelines on how to be done properly without repeating the monotonous " I really enjoyed your story" or whatnot ( although those are also quite appreciated ). Hopefully, you're a fellow reviewer like myself and I'm not the only one who's been wondering about this. So without further ado, here' s what I found: 1. The ideal review is usually concise. 2. A typical reviewer identifies a point of strength/ weakness in a piece of literature and expounds on it. 3. The review needs to be organized. 4. Try to formulate questions for the author (gets both reader and writer thinking and also helps the writer to bond with his audience). That's all I have for now. Feel free to add...or subtract.
  16. I'm glad to say I rewatched it also..though I'm not that masochistic
  17. Wow! I honestly had no clue reviewing an old story would be that special to an author. I'll definitely try reviewing the older stories that I have read.
  18. Do likes count as a review? Personally, most stories I read were written years back so I don't really bother reviewing since I feel that ship has sailed. I try however to leave reviews on newer reads or if not, at least give the author a like.
  19. North Sea Texas At least look it up, It's my fav besides A Single Man and The Normal Heart: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Sea_Texas
  20. My second quote: It is never too late to be what you might have been. George Eliot
