Friendships can be like fire ... sometimes they burn down to embers. But if you add a bit of kindling and blow ... the fire is reawakened. I'm glad for you and your friend.

You are so right. A story in our newspaper about a couple who went to every Costco, every store and bought $70,000 worth of bleach-wipes. So far they have profited $30,000 by selling them online for inflated prices. They were proud of their feat, made by preying on people's fear. Another story in the same paper from a journalist, who has an autoimmune disease, who needs hand sanitizer and wipes in her everyday life, but now cannot find them and she is afraid ... compromised people and older people, like you and me and my husband, and others we know here on GA ... are at higher risk IF we are exposed. I agree they should publish how many have recovered .. people need some hope. We need to stop sensationalizing everything.. from the weather to this current problem. Admitting you f'd up, and lied is hard. I know only too well. I haven't forgotten how that felt. I disappointed people who trusted me and who graciously forgave me. So, i get it. Nice chapter, Wayne.

BB, i am sorry this is so very late! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a joy to write but a lot of work as well. AC asked a lot of questions which i had to go back and write the answers to ... his vision helped make this story so much better. Thanks for reading and for your comments. xo

we can only work at home because we work online, no calls .. we've all had to set up a VPN .. and they gave us tokens. what they will do with the phone reps i dont know. The world should just stop for two weeks.. travel especially.

Well we've been told to bring out laptops home and back, and home and back until they decide we should work from home or not. Pain in the backside. They didn't close the place when 2 people at our place had SARS ... they stayed home, staff didn't.

mmm ... like creeping fog ... gathers at your ankles and slowly covers you 💖 <- is for you ... not how you feel. i am always told to be for a couple of days and then try to see the light again, find the way out slowly. Each of us learns how best to deal with it. hang in there.

Haha, poor Stravor ... he was controlled ... and so yes the poor guy was a robot. It was both a lot of fun and very damned hard. I am grateful to my editor who loved the story and and asked me lots of questions that needed answering. This has been to date the hardest thing i've written. But all the extra work making things right was worth it. Thank you for your wonderful comments.. i am grateful!
